DESCRIPTION:Resurgence is Portsmouth’s venerable goth night\, back after a few years off in a new venue\, The Loft\, above the King’s pub in Albert Road.  DJ Pete Scathe will be playing goth\, post-punk and alternative 80s – a core of classic goth bands like Bauhaus\, Cure\, Siouxsie\, Sisters\, Danse Society\, Xmal\, (Southern)(Death) Cult etc along with classic post-punk/alt 80s bands like Joy Division\, Bunnymen and Chameleons and a good dose of more modern post-punk like Whispering Sons\, Second Still\, Drab Majesty\, Lebanon Hanover\, She Past Away\, Twin Tribes etc
