DESCRIPTION:Byronic Sex & Exile presents the second stage of the ‘Songs From The Blood’ tour. \n\n\n\nBYRONIC SEX & EXILE – ‘SONGS FROM THE BLOOD’ TOUR (PART TWO) \n\n\n\nIn order to complete their Harkeresque sojourn in the footsteps of the Count\, Byronic Sex & Exile presents the second stage of the ‘Songs From The Blood’ tour. \n\n\n\nPart 2 will involve immersive performances in the key locations from ‘Dracula’ – namely\, Whitby\, London\, Purfleet\, Exeter\, and (of course) the Borgo Pass itself. The shows are a mixture of guerilla-style outdoor acoustic performances\, and full electric shows. The tour\, which will see the ‘Songs From The Blood’ album performed in full\, concludes with a show in Whitby as part of The Gothic Gathering weekend. \n\n\n\nThe Exeter show features special guests The Wattingers\, and is followed by a clubnight by Disintegration. SUMMARY:The Awakening + Black Lakes
DESCRIPTION:The Awakening is a dark musical project born in Johannesburg\, South Africa\, in the late ’90s as the creative expression of vocalist\, multi-instrumentalist\, author\, actor and songwriter Ashton Nyte. The Awakening’s sound has morphed and mutated over the years\, incorporating elements of Gothic Rock\, Darkwave\, Gothic Metal\, Industrial Rock\, Post-punk\, Electronic\, New Wave\, Folk Noir and other theatrical meanderings. \n\n\n\nFrontman Ashton Nyte has released 8 solo albums and 2 books in addition to his work as The Awakening. He has contributed vocals and lyrics to several other projects\, featuring members of The Cure\, Peter Murphy\, The Mission\, Beauty In Chaos\, and All About Eve\, among others. \n\n\n\nNyte has written and performed in theatrical productions and hosted philanthropic events\, including his Rock Against Rape concert series and presenting a lecture series at US universities focusing on tolerance and acceptance. He has had songs featured in major television shows like Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin (HBOMax)\, The Purge (USA Network)\, among others. \n\n\n\nMusic journalists have described Nyte as “Johannesburg’s Bowie” for his widely varying musical styles and theatrical performance approach. With a catalogue of over 350 released original songs\, Ashton Nyte and The Awakening have enjoyed airplay and chart success on major independent radio stations worldwide and have toured extensively and headlined music festivals in the USA\, Europe\, and South Africa to upwards of 30\,000 people.

SUMMARY:IST IST + The Youth Play
DESCRIPTION:Manchester’s IST IST return with their fifth studio album ‘DAGGER’ – the follow-up to 2024’s ‘Light A Bigger Fire’ which charted at number 25 in the UK\, breaking them into the Top 40 for the first time.  \n\n\n\nOnce again collaborating with producer Joseph Cross (Hurts\, Lana Del Rey\, Courteeners) the record finds the band returning to their electronic-infused post-punk roots after making a leap into more mainstream sensibilities last time out.  \n\n\n\nOver their decade as a band so far\, IST IST have forged a formidable reputation on word of mouth excitement\, amassing a dedicated cult following in the process. Operating with a fierce DIY work ethic\, the band have an ever-growing back catalogue of successful studio and live releases. Self-releasing their entire repertoire through their own Kind Violence Records label\, the band’s output has been championed by BBC Radio 1 and BBC 6Music\, Radio X\, XS Manchester\, KINK FM in the Netherlands\, The Times and more.  \n\n\n\nRiding the success of the last record into 2025\, IST IST returned to Europe for further dates and subsequently released two live albums ‘ON FIRE’ and ‘Live in Italy’.  \n\n\n\nThe band head back to Europe again in October for six shows in Italy and the Netherlands\, before playing UK for shows in Leeds\, Glasgow\, London and Birmingham to conclude the year. The band have also just announced a hometown show at the 2\,200 capacity Albert Hall in their home city of Manchester\, which will conclude the ‘DAGGER’ tour.
