SUMMARY:Pink Turns Blue + The Snake Corps
DESCRIPTION:Stigmata Presents The Black Swan UK Tour 2026 \n\n\n\nPINK TURNS BLUEPlus Special GuestsTHE SNAKE CORPS \n\n\n\nGerman Post-Punk Legends Pink Turns Blue on Tour in Support of New Album “Black Swan” Since forming in 1985\, German post-punk stalwarts Pink Turns Blue have refined their sound into something unmistakably their own—elegant in its minimalism\, emotive in its delivery\, and enduring in its relevance. From their early breakthrough with If Two Worlds Kiss to their newest release\, Black Swan\, the Berlin-based trio has remained a vital force in the international post-punk community\, shaping and reshaping the genre across decades. \n\n\n\nBlack Swan\, the band’s twelfth studio album\, is an evocative response to instability—what the band calls a reflection on “unexpected events that derail what we took for granted.” True to form\, Pink Turns Blue channel that disquiet into melancholic anthems laced with shimmering guitar lines\, propulsive bass\, and plaintive vocals. These are not songs of nostalgia but of reckoning—resilient and immediate\, echoing the emotional urgency that defined their early work and continues to define them today. \n\n\n\nTo celebrate the album\, Pink Turns Blue are embarking on a major tour\, with their North American run starting in August 2025 (East Coast) and commencing in April 2026 (West Coast). \n\n\n\nJoining them for the entire UK tour will be cult UK post punk exponents THE SNAKE CORPS! \n\n\n\nListen to the new album of PINK TURNS BLUE ▶https://pinkturnsblue.bandcamp.com/album/black-swanListen to …More on Pink Turns Blue: PINK TURNS BLUE ▶https://pinkturnsblue.com/ \n\n\n\nPINK TURNS BLUE BIOGRAPHY: Pink Turns Blue are a influential post-punk band from Berlin. Formed in 1985 in Cologne\, Germany\, they were part of the first generation of gothic rock and released their first LP\, If Two Worlds Kiss with a sound reminiscent of new wave with very dark undertones and use of synthesizers\, and went on to become part of the developing sub-genre of dark wave. they quickly put out their first LP\, If Two Worlds Kiss and became become one of the pioneers of the developing sub-genre of darkwave. \n\n\n\nBefore the first album Thomas Elbern left the band to form Escape With Romeo. After many hits like Michelle\, Walking On Both Sides\, Your Master Is Calling\, The First\, I Coldly Stare Out\, Touch The Skies\, Catholic Sunday\, Missing You\, If Two Worlds Kiss\, Moon and Seven Years they split up in 1995. In 2003 they reformed to appear on a few festivals. Because of the success of the re-union\, they released a best of album called “Re-Union” and in 2005 their studio album “Phoenix.” The next release was called “The AERDT – Untold Stories” and now they have a brand new album out and will play a world tour to promote the Black Swan album! \n\n\n\nThe Snake Corps: A Timeless Post-Punk Legacy They remain one of post-punk’s most beloved hidden gems\, with a sound that continues to captivate both long-time fans and new listeners alike. The band formed in 1984 after parting ways with Sad Lovers & Giants. They quickly earned a devoted following\, thanks to their unique blend of intricate guitars\, driving basslines\, and emotive vocals\, highlighted by their debut single Science Kills\, and album Flesh on Flesh (1985)\, supported by DJ John Peel.Their evolving sound\, which added keyboards\, led to the release of More Than the Ocean (1989) and Smother Earth (1990)\, establishing them as pioneers of atmospheric\, emotionally charged music. \n\n\n\nDespite their success\, the band’s momentum was stalled when their label\, Midnight Music\, went bankrupt. However\, they self-funded the recording of their acclaimed 3rd Cup album (1995)\, after a hiatus\, they reformed in 2010\, returning to the stage with critically acclaimed European performances\, including shows with TheChameleons and The Mission. Their 2016 EP The Ocean Calls and later singles likeShe’ll Rise (2020) and Ghost (2021) proved their music remains as powerful as ever.In 2025\, The Snake Corps will tour the UK and Europe\, reuniting with Carl Jones on guitar in the UK and Jojo Brandt (The Convent) in Spain\, making this a highly anticipated comeback and are super excited to be asked to tour with the legendary Pink Turns Blue!

SUMMARY:Theatre of Hate + The Skids
DESCRIPTION:A CO HEADLINE SHOW WITH SKIDS & THEATRE OF HATE \n\n\n\nTHEATRE OF HATE – \n\n\n\nIn 1980\, Kirk Brandon formed Theatre Of Hate from the ashes of heralded punk band The Pack. Joining Kirk on vocals were notable punk musicians Stan Stammers and Luke Rendall\, along with old school friend\, Steve Guthrie and Canadian born John “Boy” Lennard\, who revolutionised the band’s sound with his haunting sax lines. \n\n\n\nTheatre Of Hate’s debut double-A-side single\, “Legion”/”Original Sin”\, topped the independent chart in 1980\, and “Westworld”\, their debut album\, produced by Mick Jones from The Clash and released in 1982\, held the number one position for 21 weeks. The single taken from the album\, “Do You Believe In The West- world?” has become an anthem and is still widely played in clubs and on international radio\, as well as featuring on numerous compilation albums. \n\n\n\nTheatre Of Hate imploded in 1982\, with Kirk taking Stan forward to form Spear Of Destiny\, but the band has resurfaced over the years to play some very special shows. \n\n\n\nHaving been asked by John Curd to join The Damned for a massive show at London’s infamous Round- house in December 2014 the band once again joined the fray. A short set of dates around the London Roundhouse anchor show attracted rave reviews. \n\n\n\n2015 saw the band play two short jaunts across the UK in April and December both sets of dates wowed large crowds.Whilst touring the band recorded and released\, Kinshi funded by a fans pledge campaign – the first new studio album in 30+ years. The 12 track album launched in November 2016 sublimely linked the past and present to great press and fan acclaim leading to further extensive live shows across the UK\, Europe and the USA. \n\n\n\nWith a now settled line up of Kirk Brandon\, Stan Stammers\, Chris Bell & Clive Osborne (currently deputising for John Lennard) the band released two EP’s I.Sensou (War) & II.Heiwa (Peace) in 2019 which have maintained the ongoing success and paved the way for the bands latest and\, appropriately named\, studio album\, A Thing Of Beauty\, again funded by the growing fanbase via very specially packaged releases on CD & Vinyl. Recorded during the 2020 lockdowns and officially released in March 2021 this venture has already become a favourite amongst the loyal fanbase\, many shows to support the release followed. \n\n\n\nDuring 2023 TOH joined both The Mission and The Chameleons for a now legendary 39 date coast to coast of the USA\, sell out shows with The Mission in Manchester\, Whitby and London’s Roundhouse finished the year. \n\n\n\n2024 will see TOH release a completely re-recorded and re-worked version of their iconic 1982 ‘Westworld” album\, many many live shows are planned across the globe… \n\n\n\nLIVE REVIEWS “The setlist is packed with classic Theatre of Hate tracks\, from ‘The Wake’\, through to ‘Legion’ and ‘Original Sin’\, as well as ‘Incinerator’ and ‘My \n\n\n\nOwn Invention’. ‘Judgment Hymn’ soars\, ‘Propaganda’ roars; ‘63’ is flawless\, ‘Rebel Without A Brain’ kicks you in the chest. The quality of songs and their performance is relentless.” Alan Neilson – gettothefront.co.uk \n\n\n\n“We have seen the Stranglers\, SLF\, The Damned and Killing Joke go from strength to strength in the past few years and with performances this powerful and this spell binding it won’t be long before Theatre Of hate join them” John Robb – Louder Than War \n\n\n\n“ What a fantastic band\, playing music that comes from outer space and refuses to be bracketed. Every note conjured by the melding of dark and light energy into a fury of anger\, love and power” Juniper Gavin – Vive Le Rock! \n\n\n\nEARLY REVIEWS FOR “A Thing of Beauty” “Oozes every ounce of Theatre of Hate\, mesmerising sax\, haunting bass\, rhythmic skins\, slight but perfect guitar\, and vocals that make the hair at the back of your neck stand up on end…’’ \n\n\n\n“i’m lovin all the tracks for different reasons. It’s a blinding album and a great way to end this year on a high note! Long live The Hate!” \n\n\n\n“Did not expect that – absolutely brilliant from the first note to the last…sounds 2020 fresh but stamped with 1982 at its core…the range and depth of this maspterpiece should not be missed….stick it on\, settle back and prepare to be in awe of master craftsmen at work” \n\n\n\nTHE SKIDS \n\n\n\nSkids is a punk band formed in Dunfermline\, Scotland by Stuart Adamson (on guitars\, vocals\, keyboards\, percussion)\, Richard Jobson (vocals\, guitar\, keyboards)\, Thomas Kellichan (drums) and William Simpson (bass guitar\, vocals) in 1977. They signed to Virgin and issued “Sweet Suburbia” and “The Saints Are Coming” before shooting to popularity with top ten single “Into The Valley“\, from their first album “Scared to Dance“. The group has split and reformed on numerous occasions; the original run was 1977–1982\, they reformed in 2007 before splitting in 2010. For the third time\, they reformed in 2016. They released their fifth album\, Burning Cities\, in 2018\, 36 years after their last release. \n\n\n\nThe Skids continue to enjoy popularity with two top 20 singles\, “Masquerade” and “Working for the Yankee Dollar“\, from the album “Days in Europa“\, produced by Bill Nelson. The Cover of the album\, showing an “aryan”\, was seen by some as resembling Nazi propaganda imagery\, and was soon replaced with a less controversial sleeve. This sleeve\, although conventional\, still bore the image of the first release seen through the viewers eyes by a picture on the wall\, alongside a picture of ‘Scared to Dance‘\, the sleeve portrayed a woman \, bare breast showing\, in the hands of a man. \n\n\n\nThe Absolute Game was The Skids’ 1980 third album (not counting the two different mix versions released of their second album 1979’s Days in Europa) and was produced by Mick Glossop. It featured two new band members\, Russell Webb (bass guitar\, vocals\, guitar\, keyboards\, percussion) and Mike Baillie (drums\, vocals\, percussion). \n\n\n\nThe album continued the Skids’ progression from a punky sound into a more mellow one – paralleled by many bands of the period. The album has a great deal in common with Days in Europa\, but not much with its successor\, Joy. Around this time the band were driven by internal rifts and disagreements\, leading to various members coming and going. Soon after the release and live concert tour of The Absolute Game\, Adamson and Baillie left the band. (Although Adamson did temporarily return to play on one more song from the album Joy\, called Iona.) Adamson went on to launch the career of his new band\, Big Country\, and Baillie moved back to Scotland to live. A great deal of Big Country’s future sound and style can be heard in this album. In particularly on Hurry On Boys\, which features bagpipe simulations and real didgeridoo. \n\n\n\nThe departure of Adamson and Baillie left Jobson and Webb\, in 1981\, to write and record the band’s fourth and final album Joy\, which Russell Webb also produced. The pair played multiple instruments on the album\, and also invited a collection of seventeen musical friends to perform on various tracks with them. The Skids dissolved in 1982\, with the album Fanfare posthumously issued by Virgin. It was a mixture of greatest hits and unreleased tracks. \n\n\n\nJobson and Webb then went onto form a new band called The Armoury Show. The group only recorded one album called Waiting for the Floods in 1985 before splitting up. Richard Jobson went onto pursue a solo career as a poet\, songwriter\, television presenter and most recently a film director. He released albums on the Belgian record label Les Disques du Crepuscule\, and the UK’s own Parlophone Records. \n\n\n\nSadly\, on December 16 2001\, Stuart was found dead in Best Western Plaza Hotel in Honolulu\, Hawaii\, having committed suicide. \n\n\n\nIn the year 2007\, U2 and Green Day covered “The Saints Are Coming” recorded originally by The Skids for the “Scared to Dance” album. Most fans seen this as a juncture to include new fans to the old punk scene. \n\n\n\nIn 2007 former members of The Skids – Richard Jobson\, William Simpson and Mike Baillie – reunited to play three gigs. Joined by Bruce Watson (guitar/vocals of Big Country)\, Jamie Watson (guitar)\, Brian Jobson (vocals) and Jane Button (vocals) – the gigs commemorated the thirtieth anniversary of the group’s formation\, and were final tribute to Stuart Adamson. The shows on 4 July and 5 July were at Dunfermline’s Glen Pavilion\, where they were supported by Rosyth band The Draymin – outside of which The Skids had previously played only their second gig according to Jobson – and on 7 July\, at the T in the Park festival. \n\n\n\nSkids returned to the stage on 28 November 2009 as one of the headlining acts in Homecoming Live\, a series of gigs held around the SECC complex in Glasgow to celebrate the end of the Year of Homecoming in Scotland. The line-up mirrored the 2007 gigs\, with members of The Gospel Truth Choir joining Button on backing vocals for “A Woman in Winter” and “Working for the Yankee Dollar“. \n\n\n\nThe same lineup performed a concert on 5 March 2010 at the ABC in Glasgow\, with support from The Law and Bruce & Jamie Watson\, and lastly a concert on 6 March 2010 at the Alhambra Theatre\, Dunfermline\, with support from Beatnic Prestige and Bruce & Jamie Watson. This final concert was to conclude a week of events celebrating the works\, past and present\, of Richard Jobson as part of The Fifer Festival 2010 on 6 March 2010. \n\n\n\nIn 2016 the band reformed and announced a 40th anniversary tour of the UK with their original singer Richard Jobson. In 2018\, Skids released their fifth album\, Burning Cities. \n\n\n\nBoth Dunfermline Athletic FC and Charlton Athletic FC use “Into the Valley” as a theme song.

SUMMARY:Theatre of Hate + TBC
DESCRIPTION:In 1980\, Kirk Brandon formed Theatre Of Hate from the ashes of heralded punk band The Pack. Long live The Hate!” \n\n\n\n“Did not expect that – absolutely brilliant from the first note to the last…sounds 2020 fresh but stamped with 1982 at its core…the range and depth of this maspterpiece should not be missed….stick it on\, settle back and prepare to be in awe of master craftsmen at work”

SUMMARY:The Twilight Sad
DESCRIPTION:“If the world was a better place they would be playing to more people\, and I think they can.” – Robert Smith\, The Cure \n\n\n\nFrom their unassuming origins as a group of school friends drawn together by a shared passion for music to the global touring force they have quietly become\, The Twilight Sad’s ascent has been forged the old way with grit\, graft and five exceptional studio albums. The Kilsyth group – based around the core duo of James Graham and Andy MacFarlane – seemed to emerge fully formed with their blindsiding 2007 debut Fourteen Autumns and Fifteen Winters but there has been an undeniable evolution throughout the critically acclaimed body of work they have since produced. The band’s last album\, 2019’s IT WON/T BE LIKE THIS ALL THE TIME\, was released to both critical acclaim and commercial success\, marking a new high in the beloved Scottish band’s trajectory to date. \n\n\n\n+ deary

SUMMARY:Lone Assembly + Ro Nova
DESCRIPTION:Lone Assembly are a Swiss quartet blending new wave\, romantic synthpop and dark\, melancholic post-punk. Formed by Raphaël Bressler (vocals\, keyboards)\, Glenn Le Meur (guitar)\, Jim Bodeman (bass) and Romain Segu (drums)\, the band broke through in 2024 with their debut EP That Never Happened — a release rooted in themes of grief\, emotional distance and vulnerability\, pairing ’80s cold-wave textures with sharp modern production. \n\n\n\nTheir forthcoming debut album Knots & Chains\, due February 2026 via Irascible Records\, expands on this world with thunderous basslines\, hypnotic rhythms\, reverb-soaked guitars and atmospheric synths underpinning Bressler’s deep\, resonant vocals. Known for their striking gothic-inspired visuals and growing reputation for powerful live shows\, Lone Assembly have quickly built a dedicated following across the new-wave and dark-wave scenes\, while retaining undeniable pop appeal. \n\n\n\nRo Nova is a London-based electropop artist and producer blending ’80s synth textures with ethereal vocals to create a sound that feels both nostalgic and forward-looking. Since the release of her debut single “do you think it’s fine?”\, she has received support from BBC Radio 1\, BBC London and Reprezent Radio\, alongside tastemakers including Harriet Rose (KISS FM) and James Threlfall (BBC Introducing). \n\n\n\nA feature with German electronic heavyweight Schiller helped expand her audience internationally\, following the album Illuminate reaching No.1 in Germany. Ro Nova has since toured Europe with Schiller\, including performances at Berlin’s Uber Arena\, and has collaborated with Grammy Award-winners Fred again.. and Kamille\, alongside sessions with RAYE\, MNEK and Toddla T. Following standout sets at The Great Escape Festival and London’s Scala\, Ro Nova recently headlined SJQ Dalston and will join Lone Assembly on their 2026 UK tour.

SUMMARY:BlakLight + TBC
DESCRIPTION:BlakLight is Los Angeles based dark synthpop trio Adam Collier (Beautiful Crisis\, SilverScene)\, Brian Belknap (Mind Machine) & Omar Quiñones (Vain Machine). Formed by Adam and Brian in early 2020\, the band released the singles “Isolation” and “Unknown Love” before quickly unleashing their critically acclaimed debut album\, ‘Music in a Time of Uncertainty’. \n\n\n\nAfter an additional single\, “Control”\, an onslaught of remix EPs\, compilation tracks and numerous remixes for other artists\, BlakLight set their sights on a second album. “Nightmares” and “Reset” built anticipation for the follow-up\, ‘Into the Void’\, released in late 2021. ‘Into The Void’ crafts songs of both light and darkness\, while expanding the band’s electronic musical template. Finding the album on top of many year-end lists\, they closed out 2021 with another single\, “Crack”\, backed with their take on the Echo & The Bunnymen classic\, “The Killing Moon”. \n\n\n\n2022 saw the band release the title track from ‘Into the Void’ and make their live debut playing shows alongside Aesthetic Perfection\, Matte Blvck\, and others. They soon assembled the sprawling twenty track\, remix double album\, ‘Out of The Void – The Remixes’\, featuring two unique twists of every song from ‘Into the Void’\, constructed by the likes of Aesthetic Perfection\, Assemblage 23\, Beborn Beton\, Black Light Odyssey\, Eisfabrik\, Kontraviod\, Solar Fake and many more. BlakLight closed out the year with the release of ‘Innocence Lost’ EP\, while 2023 began with the re-release of two previously released exclusive compilation tracks\, “Coma” and “Wicked Face” and their instrumental-ish album\, ‘The Padded Room’. \n\n\n\nBlakLight believe that music can make a difference and has contributed multiple exclusive tracks to compilations curated by Los Angeles based music collective Darkness Calling\, https://darknesscalling.bandca…\, with all proceeds donated to the Transgender Law Center. \n\n\n\nThe duo has now expanded to a trio\, adding the talented and versatile Omar Quiñones from Vain Machine on synths and backing vocals\, and have shared stages with Traitrs\, Glass Spells\, Urban Heat\, Male Tears\, The New Division\, Empathy Test\, Solar Fake\, Beborn Beton\, Anything Box\, Assemblage 23\, Leæther Strip\, Die Sexual\, Sleek Teeth\, State of The Union\, NITE\, I Speak Machine and more\, with slots at Absolution Fest\, Out from The Shadows Festival\, Mechanismus Festival and Terminal Fest. The trio released several standalone singles in 2024\, ‘BlakChristmas’\, their spin on the Church’s “Reptile”\, “A Stranger Calls” / “Blinded by The Sun” plus “Blind Vision”\, the first taste of BlakLight’s fourth album\, ‘The Haunting of Us’. The follow up singles\, “Buried Alive” and “Leave a Light On”\, hit the airwaves prior to the December release of ‘The Haunting of Us’. \n\n\n\nThe band kicked off the new year with the addition of a new live member\, Suede Flores from Carved Souls\, before they embark to play Dark Force Fest\, a Mexican tour and Wave-Gotik Treffen\, marking the band’s European debut.

SUMMARY:Deviant + The Go Go Cult + Palindrones + This Is Radio Silence
DESCRIPTION:eat:Cancer & Church of Madness are back at Facebar\, Reading on the Sat 30th May 2026 \n\n\n\nFeaturing four bands & afterparty DJs playing Synthpop\, EBM\, industrial & more. \n\n\n\n—————————————- \n\n\n\nDeviant \n\n\n\nDeviant require no introduction. Formed in 2004 by devilishly charismatic frontman Jay Smith\, they became ubiquitous mainstays of the UK dark alternative scene for the next decade\, touring relentlessly throughout the UK\, Europe\, and the US. \n\n\n\nEqual parts industrial\, goth and pop science\, the sound is built on atmosphere yet anchored by force. A very British strain of iconic darkness. \n\n\n\nDeviant released two successful albums ‘Barbed Wire Star’ and ‘Very Bad Things’\, spawning the classics ‘Access Denied!’\, ‘Raptured Saints’\, and ‘Wreckhead’. Alongside his own immediately recognisable sound\, Smith has lent his voice to collaborations with many scene heavyweights including Project Pitchfork\, Rotersand\, Tyskke Ludder\, and Angels & Agony. \n\n\n\nWith a reputation for spectacular and energetic live shows\, Smith’s inimitable stage presence\, iconic imagery and fist-in-the-air anthems make Deviant a must-see act. Jay Smith doesn’t plead for attention; he assumes it. \n\n\n\nNow\, in 2026\, Deviant return bigger\, better\, and every bit as vital with a thumping new single ‘Resurrect Me’ and new album ‘Resurrection’\, the first new material in 12 years. \n\n\n\nDeviant don’t try to be liked. \n\n\n\nThey aim to be felt — and remembered. \n\n\n\n—————————————- \n\n\n\nTIRS : This is Radio Silence \n\n\n\nTHIS IS RADIO SILENCE was formed in 2006\, initially as the solo project of former Earth Loop Recall frontman/SonVer guitarist Ben McLees. \n\n\n\nTIRS’s music is generally described as ‘electronic rock’\, though they also lean heavily on a broad range of influences\, including dub\, psychedelia\, industrial\, electro\, alt-rock\, post-punk\, experimental\, new wave\, ambient and IDM. \n\n\n\n—————————————- \n\n\n\nPalindrones \n\n\n\nPalindrones is an emotionally immersive\, captivating\, dark electronic duo from South London. They take listeners on a shimmering and cathartic sonic journey with dreamy Industrial Synthpop\, infused with pounding rhythms\, haunting\, evocative vocals and esoteric ambiance. \n\n\n\nFormed in 2020 by Jamie and Karen\, Palindrones emerged during lockdown; songwriting was their way to stay connected whilst living on opposite sides of London. Their name\, Palindrones\, speaks to the duality at the heart of their artistry—where symmetry\, reflection\, and contradiction fuel both their music and their creative process. \n\n\n\n—————————————- \n\n\n\nThe Go Go Cult \n\n\n\nSince 2009 The Go Go Cult have crawled like shadows from The Darklands of Reading bringing their unique brand of Dark Hypnotic Post Punk Psycho-delic Gothic Garage Blues to thirsty audiences all over the world. \n\n\n\n“Yes. Go Go Cult sound like being in a 1950s motorbike gang in America\, pushed to the musical limits from the constant threat of nuclear holocaust.” Tim Hooper for BBC Introducing. \n\n\n\n—————————————- \n\n\n\nRIP Richard Pyne. \n\n\n\nKilling Miranda were due to play for us on this event and therefore we will be holding a special dedicated after party in remembrance of Richard. \n\n\n\nSome of the Beat:Cancer team had known Richard for 25 years+ having originally booked Killing Miranda in the Transgression By Numbers era. Over the years he has brought both chaos and fun including the in-famous Nicolas Cage Harlem Shake at Resistanz 2013. \n\n\n\n———— \n\n\n\nAbout the event \n\n\n\nBeat:Cancer is a charity formed to help fight cancer through funding research\, treatment\, screening and care using electronic music: We release music\, run club nights\, host gigs and organise festivals to raise money\, which we then grant to worthy institutions such as hospices\, research centres and treatment wards. \n\n\n\nEarly birds are £13 \n\n\n\nFirst tier are £16. \n\n\n\nSecond tier are £19. \n\n\n\nUnder 18s tickets are £6 \n\n\n\nEarly Bird Weekend Tickets are only £23.50 \n\n\n\nID might be requested. \n\n\n\nWe charge no booking fees on our website.
