DESCRIPTION:COVENANT 1986-2026We live in confusing times\, in the dusk of mankind. We want to tell stories and sing about how that makes us feel. In a world that has stopped making sense\, we need to learn how to see in the dark. Covenant is a triumphant embrace of the strength and resilience of the soul. It’s the dystopian\, unforgiving song of our dreams born in the shadow of the cold war. Our music is a monument of our failures and as beautiful as a collapsed star. \n\n\n\n26t of April 1986\, on the very eve of the Chernobyl disaster\, Covenant was founded after having their senses blinded by Front 242 in Malmö at the legendary venue Stadt Hamburg. \n\n\n\nThe aggressive beats and uncompromising attitude mixed with the pop flavour of their new song Don’t Crash made a deep impression and only 5 months later Clas\, Eskil and Joakim had their first show\, with own songs\, and the band have since performed in 42 countries over 6 continents and released over 120 songs. In 2026 the band would like to invite you and together reflect on the times and celebrate 40 years of “pop with an edge”! In a string of extended concerts\, spanning two and a half hours\, the band will perform songs from every album with setlists voted by the fans and you. We are honoured and grateful for every moment we shared\, thank you for the music. \n\n\n\nFounding members Joakim Montelius and Eskil Simonsson are currently working on a new album. Hailing from the unlikely locale of Edmonton Alberta\, the project originally emerged from mastermind Scott Fox’s desire to explore both the heavy electronics he cut his teeth spinning in local industrial club nights\, and his love of percussion from around the world. \n\n\n\n———- \n\n\n\nStatiqbloom –  Beat:Cancer Debut\n\n\n\nStatiqbloom has been creating a fusion of rhythm and noise with haunting dynamics since 2014 combining elements of techno with the experimentation of industrial music. \n\n\n\nCurrently based in Berlin\, he uses a combination of hardware and software to create noisy modular engineered techno. Building his live sets by meshing heavy hard industrialized rhythms with unfolding blackened atmospheres and disorienting vocals. \n\n\n\n———- \n\n\n\nMatt Hart –\n\n\n\nMATT HART is an industrial artist both musician and DJ\, from London\, UK and has been involved and creating music for as long as he can remember\, starting with the violin at age 6\, moving to the deeper viola a couple years later…. jump ahead a chunk of time and he found himself writing and releasing his own music under the same name\, MATT HART. \n\n\n\nWithin his music soundscape\, expect to hear beats of Industrial\, Electronic/EBM\, and Metal blended together – all under a concept of Wastelands 3808 (a post-apocalyptic world) where it is Man VS Machine. \n\n\n\n———- \n\n\n\nDe:feat – 10 years since they last played for B:C\n\n\n\nDefeat are Dark Electro / EBM duo Anthony Matthews (Voice) and Gary Walker (Synthetics). \n\n\n\n‘Atmosphere\, Angst and< Rhythm’ is how they describe their sound – an unholy hybrid of Nitzer Ebb\, NIN\, Depeche Mode\, Gary Numan\, Fad Gadget\, et al. \n\n\n\n———- \n\n\n\nBeat:Cancer are also running a second event on the Fri 11th Dec with Schism featuring Metal\, Rock\, Alt & Drum & Bass.
