SUMMARY:Brides of The Black Room + Promenade Cinema
DESCRIPTION:The Brides of the Black Room \n\n\n\nA secret society\, existing as nothing more than a whisper through history\, The Brides of the Black room began it´s unmasking in late 2020. \n\n\n\nOnce hunted as witches\, and now reclaiming the title as their birthright\, the coven seeks to bring balance to the shadows they’ve had to call their home. Serving the omnipotent entity they know as \n\n\n\n“Mother”\, the Brides took up arms against any that would see them brought back down into obscurity. \n\n\n\nIn season 1/album 1 “Blood and Fire” (2022)\, the Brides was fronted by a trinity of unexpected spearhead siblings with ancient rites and ever shifting technology as their weapons. \n\n\n\nIn season two Alazam wakes up after the blast of whatever was going on to find herself in a somewhat Nangijala state. And so the struggle continues. Who´s in command? Over what? What is the struggle? \n\n\n\nWho is the enemy? \n\n\n\nSeason 2/Album 2 called “Commander” (2025) presented the cult taking new steps further into the story revealing the characters behind the curtains that were there since the beginning of the story; Coyote\, Lynx & Ghostheart. \n\n\n\nThe Brides of the Black Room is now heading on their first tour after only exclusive concerts in their home city of Stockholm. \n\n\n\nPromenade Cinema \n\n\n\nPromenade Cinema create cinematic synthpop with dark allure and melodic intensity. Lush synths and compelling vocals build songs that stay with you long after they end. Their music draws you into a world of shadow and splendour\, where emotion and atmosphere take centre stage. \n\n\n\nFollowing the popularity of their recent singles Play With Fate and Under Review – new album AFTERLIFE cements Promenade Cinema’s reputation as one of the UK’s most distinctive electronic duos. The physical album & digital download is available via Bandcamp: https://promenadecinema.bandca… \n\n\n\nOn stage\, Promenade Cinema have built a reputation for immersive performances across Europe\, appearing at festivals including Infest (UK)\, ElectriXmas (Sweden)\, Resistanz (UK)\, Fame Festival (Poland)\, and NCN Festival (Germany). \n\n\n\nRefined\, evocative\, and unforgettable.

SUMMARY:Darkside: Mouth Ulcers
DESCRIPTION:GOTH RETURNS to its 80s Alternative Mecca: THE WAREHOUSE\, LEEDS. \n\n\n\nTainted Love presents DARKSIDE – a day/night of alternative 80s with special guests\, MOUTH ULCERS\, performing a live club set \n\n\n\nSaturday 7 November 2026 / 4pm – 9pm \n\n\n\nThe Warehouse\, Somers Street\, Leeds\, LS1 2RG \n\n\n\nEarly bird tickets available from 11am on Saturday 4th July from https://fatso.ma/f2r5t \n\n\n\nAfter two sell-out events at The Key Club in Leeds earlier this year\, Darkside storms back for another night of alternative 80s action but this time at The Warehouse\, a venue steeped in the history of clubbing. \n\n\n\nFor much of the 80s\, The Warehouse was the biggest alternative venue in Leeds\, packed week in\, week out with the city’s craziest haircuts and most outrageous makeup. Marc Almond even did his apprenticeship in the art of running a cloakroom here and\, as well as the club nights\, the venue brought all the big alternative names to the city\, including Depeche Mode\, Soft Cell\, Bauhaus\, Killing Joke\, The Smiths\, The Birthday Party\, Dead or Alive and Leeds’ very own Sisters of Mercy\, to name but a few. \n\n\n\nLet DJs Dan Lomax (The Town & Country Club\, The Cockpit\, Black Lodge) & Richard Miechje (Salvation) take you on a dark thrill ride through the best of the alternative 80s sound-scape\, transporting you back to your favourite decade for a day to remember (whether you were actually there or just wish you had been). \n\n\n\nOur special guests\, Mouth Ulcers\, are a hotly tipped London-based gothic post-punk quartet\, who will be travelling up to Leeds after supporting The Mission at The Town & Country Club in London on Friday 6 November. Come and see what everybody is talking about; they will not disappoint you! \n\n\n\nExpect to hear: \n\n\n\nThe Cure / Bauhaus / Sisters of Mercy / Joy Division / Soft Cell / The Cult / Depeche Mode / \n\n\n\nSiouxsie and the Banshees / The Damned / Killing Joke / The Cramps / The Smiths / Violent Femmes / Nick Cave / The Damned / The Mission / Fields of the Nephilim / New Model Army / Pixies / The Chameleons / Iggy Pop / NIN

DESCRIPTION:Boy Harsher have released what some might call the gold standard of electronic body music since 2014. Live\, the Boy Harsher experience is reckless and enveloping. Matthews and Muller met in Savannah\, GA while both studying film and their initial interest in music began with cinema. Their latest album\, The Runner (Original Soundtrack) is the soundtrack to a short horror film written\, produced\, and directed by the duo. The duo is currently at work on their debut feature film\, The Lonely Woman\, starring Chloë Sevigny\, FKA twigs\, Sturgill Simpson\, and Will Oldham.

DESCRIPTION:COVENANT 1986-2026We live in confusing times\, in the dusk of mankind. We want to tell stories and sing about how that makes us feel. In a world that has stopped making sense\, we need to learn how to see in the dark. Covenant is a triumphant embrace of the strength and resilience of the soul. It’s the dystopian\, unforgiving song of our dreams born in the shadow of the cold war. Our music is a monument of our failures and as beautiful as a collapsed star. \n\n\n\n26t of April 1986\, on the very eve of the Chernobyl disaster\, Covenant was founded after having their senses blinded by Front 242 in Malmö at the legendary venue Stadt Hamburg. \n\n\n\nThe aggressive beats and uncompromising attitude mixed with the pop flavour of their new song Don’t Crash made a deep impression and only 5 months later Clas\, Eskil and Joakim had their first show\, with own songs\, and the band have since performed in 42 countries over 6 continents and released over 120 songs. In 2026 the band would like to invite you and together reflect on the times and celebrate 40 years of “pop with an edge”! We are honoured and grateful for every moment we shared\, thank you for the music. \n\n\n\nFounding members Joakim Montelius and Eskil Simonsson are currently working on a new album. DESCRIPTION:Beat:Cancer & Church of Madness are back at Facebar\, Reading on the Sat 12th Dec 2026. Featuring a host of bands & afterparty DJs. \n\n\n\n———- \n\n\n\niVardensphere-  UK Exclusive band show\n\n\n\nExperimental Tribal Electronic Music from Canada. \n\n\n\niVardensphere is a unique quantity in the world of modern electronic music. Hailing from the unlikely locale of Edmonton Alberta\, the project originally emerged from mastermind Scott Fox’s desire to explore both the heavy electronics he cut his teeth spinning in local industrial club nights\, and his love of percussion from around the world. \n\n\n\n———- \n\n\n\nStatiqbloom –  Beat:Cancer Debut\n\n\n\nStatiqbloom has been creating a fusion of rhythm and noise with haunting dynamics since 2014 combining elements of techno with the experimentation of industrial music. \n\n\n\nCurrently based in Berlin\, he uses a combination of hardware and software to create noisy modular engineered techno. Building his live sets by meshing heavy hard industrialized rhythms with unfolding blackened atmospheres and disorienting vocals. \n\n\n\n———- \n\n\n\nMatt Hart –\n\n\n\nMATT HART is an industrial artist both musician and DJ\, from London\, UK and has been involved and creating music for as long as he can remember\, starting with the violin at age 6\, moving to the deeper viola a couple years later…. jump ahead a chunk of time and he found himself writing and releasing his own music under the same name\, MATT HART. \n\n\n\nWithin his music soundscape\, expect to hear beats of Industrial\, Electronic/EBM\, and Metal blended together – all under a concept of Wastelands 3808 (a post-apocalyptic world) where it is Man VS Machine. \n\n\n\n———- \n\n\n\nDe:feat – 10 years since they last played for B:C\n\n\n\nDefeat are Dark Electro / EBM duo Anthony Matthews (Voice) and Gary Walker (Synthetics). \n\n\n\n‘Atmosphere\, Angst and< Rhythm’ is how they describe their sound – an unholy hybrid of Nitzer Ebb\, NIN\, Depeche Mode\, Gary Numan\, Fad Gadget\, et al. \n\n\n\n———- \n\n\n\nBeat:Cancer are also running a second event on the Fri 11th Dec with Schism featuring Metal\, Rock\, Alt & Drum & Bass. We will be offering a discounted price when we reveal the Friday lineup to all ticket holders of the Saturday. \n\n\n\nWe highly recommend you trust us and get in early; book now before before we release these amazing lineups as we the expect tickets to fly out fast! \n\n\n\nWe charge no booking fees on our website. Tickets are 100% virtual and your name will be on the door on the day. Please have you ticket on your phone or printed for ease. \n\n\n\nWe are a registered UK Charity (number 1169212) run entirely by unpaid volunteers who are passionate about using great music to save lives.

SUMMARY:Luxury Stranger + TBC
DESCRIPTION:Luxury Stranger finally return to one of the band’s favourite venues – York’s The Fulford Arms. This show also plays part of the band’s 20th Anniversary celebrations! Very special guests are to be announced… This is a 16+ event. \n\n\n\nLuxury Stranger is an independent dark post-punk / rock influenced band with one eye on the past and the other always looking towards the future… Formed in 2006 by singer/songwriter Simon York\, “easily one of the finest vocalists in the UK” (Reflections of Darkness magazine)\, the band has toured extensively across the UK and on the mainland\, and shared the stage with legends… Since the Pandemic\, LS have been recovering from several personal traumas while also working on a new album and playing live shows when possible. Now\, the band is ready to return to its place as “one of the UK’s stand out dark alternative acts” (Sphere Magazine). \n\n\n\n“York’s voice with its raucous timbre reminded more of the one of a rock singer. But it also gave the song a bolshie appearance… proof that York’s voice could shine even brighter on atmospherically calm songs.” (live review\, Reflections of Darkness magazine) \n\n\n\n“Think of early U2 when they were still good. This is of that calibre.” (Penny Black Music magazine) \n\n\n\n“…they just do the song thing so well…” (Mick Mercer) \n\n\n\n“Though the scene has had a feast or famine existence recently\, the city[Nottingham]’s hard working Luxury Stranger has done more than most to keep the flag flying” (Vive Le Rock magazine)
