SUMMARY:Psydoll + <MADRIGIRL> + Janique James
DESCRIPTION:PKushikatsu and Loud Women present a night of innovative female voices. \n\n\n\nChanelling ice goddesses Siouxsie Sioux and Nina Hagen over electro beats and metalic guitar shreads\, PSYDOLL are pioneers in the Tokyo cyber goth scene. It’s great to have them back in Birmingham on their MUTATE TOUR 2026 \n\n\n\nJude Rees as <MADRIGIRL> delves deep into medieval and Renaissance manuscripts\, electronically reconstructing it with looped improvisations and her own compositions. Expect shawms\, bagpipes\, hurdy gurdy\, synths and voice\, woven into immersive\, otherworldly soundscapes. It’s experimental music with warmth\, intelligence and edge. \n\n\n\nJanique James is a Birmingham solo singer songwriter when she is not being the front woman of NOT SOUP. Her music is a by-product of life’s subtle chaos with intricate jaunty guitar and poetic lyricism that often borders on abstract and surreal. For fans of The Smiths\, Dry Cleaning\, Laura Mvula and Orange Juice \n\n\n\nAdvance tickets only £10 (£12 on the door)2 for 1 advance offer for under 25s \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nPSYDOLL MUTATE TOUR 2026 full informationhttps://www.facebook.com/events/2191664121644285

SUMMARY:Elegia + Parade Ground
DESCRIPTION:Elegia’s moving feast for EBM and darkwave fiends host Parade Ground\, legendary pioneers of ’80s Belgian cold wave\, whose anthem ‘Gold Rush’ has been played at every Elegia thus far. During the mid-late ’80s Parade Ground issued a classic run of LPs + EPs produced by Front 242\, effectively making them Patrick Codenys and co.’s more pop-wise\, dadaist sibling unit. More recently Dark Entries’ reissues and comps have reaffirmed Parade Ground’s pioneering status for EBM veterans and wavey youngbloods snagged on their sharp rhythms and ohrwurm hooks.

SUMMARY:Doom Loop
DESCRIPTION:DOOM LOOP: NEON NIGHTMARES & ANALOGUE DREAMS Saturday 18th April • The Back Room at Vintage • Free Entry \n\n\n\nFusing 80s Miami with a Transylvania retro-futurism fever dream. \n\n\n\nThis April\, we are turning The Back Room into a collision point for two distinct worlds. We’re taking you on a sonic journey from the Sunset Strip to Dracula’s Dungeon. \n\n\n\nTHE LINEUP \n\n\n\n SPECIAL GUEST: JAY SINFUL (Shadow Factory) A true veteran of the UK Goth scene. Jay has been running the legendary Shadow Factory events in Whitby since 2016\, cementing himself as a key figure in the festival circuit. He brings that expertise to Doncaster to curate the Analogue Dreams—expect a masterclass in Classic Goth\, Darkwave\, and the haunting\, smoke-filled anthems of the underground. \n\n\n\n HOSTED BY: LEE SMASH (Ex-Spectrum) Your resident conductor of the Neon Nightmares. Lee is no stranger to the big stage—as a former resident of the award-winning breaks night Spectrum\, he has toured up and down the UK and across Europe. For Doom Loop\, he trades the breakbeats for the mechanical aggression of Industrial\, Darksynth\, and Cyberpunk. \n\n\n\nTHE SOUND Strictly synthetic. Strictly underground. A night of pure electronic dominance—heavy\, cinematic\, and uncompromised. \n\n\n\nTHE DRESS CODE: MIAMI VICE VS. GOTHIC SPICE. \n\n\n\nLOUD Hawaiian shirts and shades\, or Pitch Black? Choose your side. Whether you rock the neon shades of 1984 Miami or the velvet and leather of the Goth underground\, we want to see it. Prize for Best Dressed. \n\n\n\nDoncaster. Vintage Back Room. April 18th.

SUMMARY:Mercy Girl + Esther
DESCRIPTION:Mercy Girl is sensory euphoria and contemplation. \n\n\n\nFormed in 2024 by members Daisy Miles\, Davey Purdie\, Craig Harkness and Kylie MacNaughton\, the Glasgow based electronic outfit explore themes of love\, despair and the uncertainty of the human experience. Taking inspiration from EBM\, Darkwave and Electro-Pop\, Mercy Girl invokes both the solace of a dark empty highway\, and the surrender of a neon-hazed dancefloor. \n\n\n\nSince launching in November 2024\, the band have amassed a global audience and a cult online following. Having their music regularly played at\, and being used to promote dark scene club nights everywhere from Los Angeles to Berlin. The band sold out their debut headline show in The Hug and Pint in Glasgow and have shared the stage with Justin Warfield (She Wants Revenge) at a sold out Oslo in Hackney\, London. Their latest single ‘No Sound’ was featured as Track of the Week on BBC 6 Music\, alongside strong support from BBC Introducing Scotland with an Artist of the Week full feature.

SUMMARY:Mercy Girl + tbc

SUMMARY:Pink Turns Blue + The Snake Corps
DESCRIPTION:Stigmata Presents The Black Swan UK Tour 2026 \n\n\n\nPINK TURNS BLUEPlus Special GuestsTHE SNAKE CORPS \n\n\n\nGerman Post-Punk Legends Pink Turns Blue on Tour in Support of New Album “Black Swan” Since forming in 1985\, German post-punk stalwarts Pink Turns Blue have refined their sound into something unmistakably their own—elegant in its minimalism\, emotive in its delivery\, and enduring in its relevance. From their early breakthrough with If Two Worlds Kiss to their newest release\, Black Swan\, the Berlin-based trio has remained a vital force in the international post-punk community\, shaping and reshaping the genre across decades. \n\n\n\nBlack Swan\, the band’s twelfth studio album\, is an evocative response to instability—what the band calls a reflection on “unexpected events that derail what we took for granted.” True to form\, Pink Turns Blue channel that disquiet into melancholic anthems laced with shimmering guitar lines\, propulsive bass\, and plaintive vocals. These are not songs of nostalgia but of reckoning—resilient and immediate\, echoing the emotional urgency that defined their early work and continues to define them today. \n\n\n\nTo celebrate the album\, Pink Turns Blue are embarking on a major tour\, with their North American run starting in August 2025 (East Coast) and commencing in April 2026 (West Coast). \n\n\n\nJoining them for the entire UK tour will be cult UK post punk exponents THE SNAKE CORPS! \n\n\n\nListen to the new album of PINK TURNS BLUE ▶https://pinkturnsblue.bandcamp.com/album/black-swanListen to …More on Pink Turns Blue: PINK TURNS BLUE ▶https://pinkturnsblue.com/ \n\n\n\nPINK TURNS BLUE BIOGRAPHY: Pink Turns Blue are a influential post-punk band from Berlin. Formed in 1985 in Cologne\, Germany\, they were part of the first generation of gothic rock and released their first LP\, If Two Worlds Kiss with a sound reminiscent of new wave with very dark undertones and use of synthesizers\, and went on to become part of the developing sub-genre of dark wave. they quickly put out their first LP\, If Two Worlds Kiss and became become one of the pioneers of the developing sub-genre of darkwave. \n\n\n\nBefore the first album Thomas Elbern left the band to form Escape With Romeo. After many hits like Michelle\, Walking On Both Sides\, Your Master Is Calling\, The First\, I Coldly Stare Out\, Touch The Skies\, Catholic Sunday\, Missing You\, If Two Worlds Kiss\, Moon and Seven Years they split up in 1995. In 2003 they reformed to appear on a few festivals. Because of the success of the re-union\, they released a best of album called “Re-Union” and in 2005 their studio album “Phoenix.” The next release was called “The AERDT – Untold Stories” and now they have a brand new album out and will play a world tour to promote the Black Swan album! \n\n\n\nThe Snake Corps: A Timeless Post-Punk Legacy They remain one of post-punk’s most beloved hidden gems\, with a sound that continues to captivate both long-time fans and new listeners alike. The band formed in 1984 after parting ways with Sad Lovers & Giants. They quickly earned a devoted following\, thanks to their unique blend of intricate guitars\, driving basslines\, and emotive vocals\, highlighted by their debut single Science Kills\, and album Flesh on Flesh (1985)\, supported by DJ John Peel.Their evolving sound\, which added keyboards\, led to the release of More Than the Ocean (1989) and Smother Earth (1990)\, establishing them as pioneers of atmospheric\, emotionally charged music. \n\n\n\nDespite their success\, the band’s momentum was stalled when their label\, Midnight Music\, went bankrupt. However\, they self-funded the recording of their acclaimed 3rd Cup album (1995)\, after a hiatus\, they reformed in 2010\, returning to the stage with critically acclaimed European performances\, including shows with TheChameleons and The Mission. Their 2016 EP The Ocean Calls and later singles likeShe’ll Rise (2020) and Ghost (2021) proved their music remains as powerful as ever.In 2025\, The Snake Corps will tour the UK and Europe\, reuniting with Carl Jones on guitar in the UK and Jojo Brandt (The Convent) in Spain\, making this a highly anticipated comeback and are super excited to be asked to tour with the legendary Pink Turns Blue!
