SUMMARY:Heathen Apostles
DESCRIPTION:Born of the voices of past lives and baptized in the dust bowl dirt\, the Gothic Americana music of the Heathen Apostles (Mather Louth [Radio Noir]\, Chopper Franklin [The Cramps\, Nick Curran & the Lowlifes]\, Thomas Lorioux [Kings of Nuthin’] and Luis Mascaro) harkens back to a bygone chapter of American history. Using contrasting influences such as Bauhaus\, Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds and The Pogues along with Howlin’ Wolf\, Loretta Lynn (the band covers her classic Fist City) and Bessie Smith\, the Heathen Apostles have created a style of music that at once conjures both angels and demons\, and will enlighten a darkened soul. \n\n\n\nGothic Americana is a genre that is fast taking hold around the world\, in that it combines the sub-genres of gothic country & bluegrass\, dark blues\, murderfolk and depression-era jazz. The Heathen Apostles are amongst the first to inject all four into their incendiary music.

SUMMARY:Massive Ego + Dead Lights + Larva + The Silent Era
DESCRIPTION:Stigmata Presents The Symphony Of Flies UK TourMASSIVE EGO UK – 30th Anniversary Dates!DEAD LIGHTS (UK)LARVA (Spain) THE SILENT ERA (UK) \n\n\n\nMASSIVE EGO Biography: Formed in 1996\, UK synth-pop/electronic darkwave act Massive Ego emerged from the short-lived New Romantic revival known as Romo\, attracting early critical attention with a favourable live review in Melody Maker. Across a three-decade career marked by frequent line-up changes\, including members such as Dan Black (The Servant/Planet Funk) and Dean Bright (Dead Or Alive)\, the band has maintained a strong presence on the European alternative circuit\, appearing at festivals including Wave-Gotik-Treffen\, M’era Luna\, Amphi\, Infest\, and Whitby Goth Weekend\, alongside extensive touring throughout the UK and mainland Europe. Difficult to categorise stylistically\, Massive Ego combine confrontational lyricism with a striking visual identity\, epitomised by vocalist Marc Massive’s performative aesthetic\, earning them adevoted underground following. Releases such as Noise In The Machine (2014) and the albums Beautiful Suicide and Church for the Malfunctioned signalled a shift toward a darker and more abrasive sonic palette. In 2024\, guitarist Porl Young (Rosetta Stone) joined the long-standing core line-up.Throughout 2025\, Massive Ego unveiled four singles from their forthcoming new album. Their current single features guest vocals from Boy George alongside a remix from current dark scene favourites\, Actors\, signalling an especially significant period for the band as they navigate 2026\, reaffirming their enduring capacity for reinvention within the margins of electronic music culture. \n\n\n\nWith the announcement of their first-ever headline UK tour\, and new album\, Symphony Of Flies\, out on 8th May through Out Of Line Music\, it marks a high-profile 30th-anniversary year. \n\n\n\nDEAD LIGHTS Short Biography:Glamgoth? Dark Electro? Industrial Cyberfunk? Disguised as dark\, sleazy synthpop\, DEAD LIGHTS create their own personal blend of monumental synth bass lines and gritty sounds\, elaborate vocal arrangements and brutal\, dance-orientated beats. Founded in 2020\, the international duo Saul (UK) and Richard (NL) have defined their own style\, combining elements of glam\, goth and industrial with a modern\, personal twist. Their energetic live performance has brought them to many international venues and festivals. DEAD LIGHTS: progressive EBM for the 21st century. \n\n\n\nTHE SILENT ERA Short Biography: Distorted\, cinematic and intensely emotionalalt-rock from London. Touching on goth\, industrial\, shoegaze and post-punk.”….a remarkable band making extraordinary music.” – The Big Takeover“This album is extraordinary and defies easycategorization…”

SUMMARY:The Spiritual Bat + Kee + Liight
DESCRIPTION:I’m Not From London presents… \n\n\n\nA dark night of gothic nu-wave and post punk with more than a passing nod to Italy. Do not miss this… \n\n\n\n★ THE SPIRITUAL BAT \n\n\n\n* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * \n\n\n\nOne of few European bands in the scene that has carried out several coast-to-coast tours in the USA. The Spiritual Bat is based in Italy and has performed at several festivals in Europe\, such as WGT\, Whitby Goth Weekend\, Return To The Batcave\, Gotham Sounds\, Castle Party. The project evolves from “The Spiritual BatS” (plural)\, conceived in 1992 and features artwork by the Alchemisti Painters. \n\n\n\n★ KEE. \n\n\n\n* * * * * * Kee. What or who are they? Interesting question. There is not too much information out there about this band\, which I imagine is how they like it. Here is what I do know\,: they are an alternative psychedelic electro collective from Nottingham who have been described as “Portishead on steroids”\, not a bad description to be honest. \n\n\n\nTheir latest track “Sound” is heavy on atmosphere with an air of mystique and intrigue. The lead vocalist has an enchanting and mesmerising singing style. Her voice is soulful with a dark rock undercurrent and a hint of macabre cabaret thrown in for good measure. On this track her voice sounds like a heady concoction of Beth Gibbons\, PJ Harvey and vintage Bjork. Kee’s signature sound is almost impossible to classify and that’s what makes it so damn satisfying and entertaining. This is electronic music with enough darkness and intrigue that alternative rock fans can easily get on board with. I cannot stop listening to this track and this is testament to how good this exciting and ground breaking new band really is. \n\n\n\n– Lisa Knight – Accidental Music Reviewer \n\n\n\nhttps://www.instagram.com/kee.band \n\n\n\n★ LIIGHT \n\n\n\n* * * * * * * * * Coldwave from nottingham. Our new EP “Self Destruct” is out now on all streaming platforms. linktr.ee/liight_band linktr.ee/liight_band

SUMMARY:Fiat Lux + Promenade Cinema + HaHa Hats
DESCRIPTION:The Seventh Wave presents… \n\n\n\nFiat Lux \n\n\n\nFiat Lux have enjoyed an incredible renaissance since they reformed. \n\n\n\nTheir “comeback” single “It’s You” was voted one of the “Best Songs Of The Decade” by The Electricity Club; Universal Music digitally re-released all their Polydor 80’s back catalogue following the success of the remake “Secrets 2017” and Cherry Red Records made a well selling retrospective CD boxset of their Polydor years: “Hired History Plus”. \n\n\n\nThe latest album on 9 x 9 records\, “Desire & Belief”\, follows up their recent studio LPs “Saved Symmetry” and “Twisted Culture” (No12 in The Electric Cafe’s Best Of 2021). Expect excerpts from them\, plus a hearty helping of their 80’s classics. \n\n\n\nPromenade Cinema \n\n\n\nPromenade Cinema create cinematic synthpop with dark allure and melodic intensity. Lush synths and compelling vocals build songs that stay with you long after they end. Their music draws you into a world of shadow and splendour\, where emotion and atmosphere take centre stage.Refined\, evocative\, and unforgettable. \n\n\n\nHaHa Hats \n\n\n\nDrawing inspiration from the Ian Dury\, Gary Numan\, and a touch of Nick Cave\, their songs combine quirky storytelling\, vintage synths\, and unpredictable energy. \n\n\n\nHaHa Hats have spent years crafting their distinctive sound from a homemade shed studio. With five albums\, five EPs\, and six new singles from the Lost Poperty series\, the band continues to grow its audience and reputation. \n\n\n\nTheir live shows are equally unpredictable\, featuring a rotating cast of guest musicians and a healthy dose of creative chaos. With HaHa Hats\, every performance is a surprise-and that’s exactly the point!

DESCRIPTION:The Seventh Wave presents… \n\n\n\nTest Dept \n\n\n\nFormed in London in the early 1980s\, Test Dept are regarded as one of the pioneering forces of ‘industrial music’\, recognised for their groundbreaking sound and powerful performances that pushed the boundaries of music\, art and protest while exploring political and social issues. \n\n\n\nCentred around the founding duo of Paul Jamrozy and Gray Cunnington since resurfacing in the mid-2010s\, the group recently signed to the Artoffact label and have started to issue a series of carefully curated box sets along with a brand new album targeted for 2026. \n\n\n\nTest Dept continue to break down barriers and are sonic material handlers\, investigative agitators\, authentic industrialists\, utilisers and recyclers of society’s debris. SUMMARY:Cabaret Voltaire + Gazelle Twin
DESCRIPTION:Stephen ‘Mal’ Mallinder and Chris Watson have announced details of their Final UK Tour\, starting on 10 October 2026 at Birmingham Town Hall and finishing at the Sheffield Octagon on 25 October\, with Gazelle Twin confirmed as special guest across all the dates. \n\n\n\nThese dates follow news of this year’s highly anticipated sold-out tour\, which marks 50 years since the live launch of one of Britain’s most influential electronic bands\, Cabaret Voltaire\, at the Sheffield Students Union Refectory on 13 May 1975. \n\n\n\nTalking about the newly announced dates\, Stephen Mallinder\, says: “What a wonderful opportunity to go round the block one more time and share that with one of the most unique and spectacular artists we know. The connective tissue between ourselves\, our history\, and the world Gazelle Twin now conjures up\, will be out there and shared with people. It seems like a special\, magical moment. ”Composer\, producer\, and performance artist Elizabeth Bernholz\, aka Gazelle Twin\, will be special guest across the tour: “Pinch me. Go on. I’m feeling excessively lucky at the prospect of touring with Cabaret Voltaire in 2026. They are electronic music pioneers\, but also the loveliest\, kindest folk in music that I could ever hope to share the stage with. \n\n\n\nIn the current climate of social turmoil and political manipulation\, the prescient work of Cabaret Voltaire continues to be necessary. The sounds\, words\, images and films of the band still resonate loudly\, continuing to challenge the status quo. The events in 2025 and 2026 will curate this essential work and to acknowledge the timeless energy and to mark the continuing significance and power of what Cabaret Voltaire achieved. Original members Chris Watson and Stephen Mallinder are committed to stay true to the enduring vision of Cabaret Voltaire. The performance will cover the arc of their formidable output – from early experiments\, and the first Rough Trade / Factory releases\, through the band’s Doublevision video label and into the work with renowned producers such as Adrian Sherwood and Marshall Jefferson. Stephen Mallinder explains\, “The live set is built from scratch but faithful to the original tracks. Everything has been painstakingly reconstructed with the original technology and processes to build the tracks. But as with all Cabs live shows there is an element of unpredictable\, the new. Chance meets causality.”

SUMMARY:Chaos Bleak playing Play Dead + Strange Stoke
DESCRIPTION:Chaos Bleak will play a live PD set & from 10pm there’s a Strange Stoke 80s after party. \n\n\n\nThis is a tribute night to Play Dead. \n\n\n\nThe organisers and performers hope it will be a fitting tribute to a band that was at the heart of the post punk scene in the 1980s and a chance for followers\, old and new\, to enjoy a night of music and nostalgia. \n\n\n\nThe night has been organised by the Facebook group “I would like to see Play Dead live again” and local promoter Strange Events. Nottingham band Chaos Bleak will cover some of Play Dead’s back catalogue live and Strange Stoke DJs will host an after party\, delivering a night of alternative and post punk music from the 80s until 1.30am. \n\n\n\nTickets for the full night are £12 advance\, money raised after direct costs will go to Cancer Research UK.
