DESCRIPTION:Mercy Girl is sensory euphoria and contemplation. \n\n\n\nFormed in 2024 by members Daisy Miles\, Davey Purdie\, Craig Harkness and Kylie MacNaughton\, the Glasgow based electronic outfit explore themes of love\, despair and the uncertainty of the human experience. Taking inspiration from EBM\, Darkwave and Electro-Pop\, Mercy Girl invokes both the solace of a dark empty highway\, and the surrender of a neon-hazed dancefloor. \n\n\n\nSince launching in November 2024\, the band have amassed a global audience and a cult online following. Having their music regularly played at\, and being used to promote dark scene club nights everywhere from Los Angeles to Berlin. The band sold out their debut headline show in The Hug and Pint in Glasgow and have shared the stage with Justin Warfield (She Wants Revenge) at a sold out Oslo in Hackney\, London. Their latest single ‘No Sound’ was featured as Track of the Week on BBC 6 Music\, alongside strong support from BBC Introducing Scotland with an Artist of the Week full feature.

DESCRIPTION:Elegia’s moving feast for EBM and darkwave fiends host Parade Ground\, legendary pioneers of ’80s Belgian cold wave\, whose anthem ‘Gold Rush’ has been played at every Elegia thus far. During the mid-late ’80s Parade Ground issued a classic run of LPs + EPs produced by Front 242\, effectively making them Patrick Codenys and co.’s more pop-wise\, dadaist sibling unit. More recently Dark Entries’ reissues and comps have reaffirmed Parade Ground’s pioneering status for EBM veterans and wavey youngbloods snagged on their sharp rhythms and ohrwurm hooks.

Formed in 1985 in Cologne\, Germany\, they were part of the first generation of gothic rock and released their first LP\, If Two Worlds Kiss with a sound reminiscent of new wave with very dark undertones and use of synthesizers\, and went on to become part of the developing sub-genre of dark wave. they quickly put out their first LP\, If Two Worlds Kiss and became become one of the pioneers of the developing sub-genre of darkwave. \n\n\n\nBefore the first album Thomas Elbern left the band to form Escape With Romeo.After many hits like Michelle\, Walking On Both Sides\, Your Master Is Calling\, The First\, I Coldly Stare Out\, Touch The Skies\, Catholic Sunday\, Missing You\, If Two Worlds Kiss\, Moon and Seven Years they split up in 1995.
