SUMMARY:Pink Turns Blue + The Snake Corps
DESCRIPTION:Stigmata Presents The Black Swan UK Tour 2026 \n\n\n\nPINK TURNS BLUEPlus Special GuestsTHE SNAKE CORPS \n\n\n\nGerman Post-Punk Legends Pink Turns Blue on Tour in Support of New Album “Black Swan” Since forming in 1985\, German post-punk stalwarts Pink Turns Blue have refined their sound into something unmistakably their own—elegant in its minimalism\, emotive in its delivery\, and enduring in its relevance. From their early breakthrough with If Two Worlds Kiss to their newest release\, Black Swan\, the Berlin-based trio has remained a vital force in the international post-punk community\, shaping and reshaping the genre across decades. \n\n\n\nBlack Swan\, the band’s twelfth studio album\, is an evocative response to instability—what the band calls a reflection on “unexpected events that derail what we took for granted.” True to form\, Pink Turns Blue channel that disquiet into melancholic anthems laced with shimmering guitar lines\, propulsive bass\, and plaintive vocals. These are not songs of nostalgia but of reckoning—resilient and immediate\, echoing the emotional urgency that defined their early work and continues to define them today. \n\n\n\nTo celebrate the album\, Pink Turns Blue are embarking on a major tour\, with their North American run starting in August 2025 (East Coast) and commencing in April 2026 (West Coast). \n\n\n\nJoining them for the entire UK tour will be cult UK post punk exponents THE SNAKE CORPS! \n\n\n\nListen to the new album of PINK TURNS BLUE ▶https://pinkturnsblue.bandcamp.com/album/black-swanListen to …More on Pink Turns Blue: PINK TURNS BLUE ▶https://pinkturnsblue.com/ \n\n\n\nPINK TURNS BLUE BIOGRAPHY: Pink Turns Blue are a influential post-punk band from Berlin. Formed in 1985 in Cologne\, Germany\, they were part of the first generation of gothic rock and released their first LP\, If Two Worlds Kiss with a sound reminiscent of new wave with very dark undertones and use of synthesizers\, and went on to become part of the developing sub-genre of dark wave. they quickly put out their first LP\, If Two Worlds Kiss and became become one of the pioneers of the developing sub-genre of darkwave. \n\n\n\nBefore the first album Thomas Elbern left the band to form Escape With Romeo. After many hits like Michelle\, Walking On Both Sides\, Your Master Is Calling\, The First\, I Coldly Stare Out\, Touch The Skies\, Catholic Sunday\, Missing You\, If Two Worlds Kiss\, Moon and Seven Years they split up in 1995. In 2003 they reformed to appear on a few festivals. Because of the success of the re-union\, they released a best of album called “Re-Union” and in 2005 their studio album “Phoenix.” The next release was called “The AERDT – Untold Stories” and now they have a brand new album out and will play a world tour to promote the Black Swan album! \n\n\n\nThe Snake Corps: A Timeless Post-Punk Legacy They remain one of post-punk’s most beloved hidden gems\, with a sound that continues to captivate both long-time fans and new listeners alike. The band formed in 1984 after parting ways with Sad Lovers & Giants. They quickly earned a devoted following\, thanks to their unique blend of intricate guitars\, driving basslines\, and emotive vocals\, highlighted by their debut single Science Kills\, and album Flesh on Flesh (1985)\, supported by DJ John Peel.Their evolving sound\, which added keyboards\, led to the release of More Than the Ocean (1989) and Smother Earth (1990)\, establishing them as pioneers of atmospheric\, emotionally charged music. \n\n\n\nDespite their success\, the band’s momentum was stalled when their label\, Midnight Music\, went bankrupt. However\, they self-funded the recording of their acclaimed 3rd Cup album (1995)\, after a hiatus\, they reformed in 2010\, returning to the stage with critically acclaimed European performances\, including shows with TheChameleons and The Mission. Their 2016 EP The Ocean Calls and later singles likeShe’ll Rise (2020) and Ghost (2021) proved their music remains as powerful as ever.In 2025\, The Snake Corps will tour the UK and Europe\, reuniting with Carl Jones on guitar in the UK and Jojo Brandt (The Convent) in Spain\, making this a highly anticipated comeback and are super excited to be asked to tour with the legendary Pink Turns Blue!

DESCRIPTION:Manchester’s IST IST return with their fifth studio album ‘DAGGER’ – the follow-up to 2024’s ‘Light A Bigger Fire’ which charted at number 25 in the UK\, breaking them into the Top 40 for the first time. \n\n\n\nOnce again collaborating with producer Joseph Cross (Hurts\, Lana Del Rey\, Courteeners) the record finds the band returning to their electronic-infused post-punk roots after making a leap into more mainstream sensibilities last time out. \n\n\n\nOver their decade as a band so far\, IST IST have forged a formidable reputation on word of mouth excitement\, amassing a dedicated cult following in the process. Operating with a fierce DIY work ethic\, the band have an ever-growing back catalogue of successful studio and live releases. Self-releasing their entire repertoire through their own Kind Violence Records label\, the band’s output has been championed by BBC Radio 1 and BBC 6Music\, Radio X\, XS Manchester\, KINK FM in the Netherlands\, The Times and more. \n\n\n\nRiding the success of the last record into 2025\, IST IST returned to Europe for further dates and subsequently released two live albums ‘ON FIRE’ and ‘Live in Italy’. \n\n\n\nThe band head back to Europe again in October for six shows in Italy and the Netherlands\, before playing UK for shows in Leeds\, Glasgow\, London and Birmingham to conclude the year. SUMMARY:Theatre of Hate + TBC
DESCRIPTION:In 1980\, Kirk Brandon formed Theatre Of Hate from the ashes of heralded punk band The Pack. Joining Kirk on vocals were notable punk musicians Stan Stammers and Luke Rendall\, along with old school friend\, Steve Guthrie and Canadian born John “Boy” Lennard\, who revolutionised the band’s sound with his haunting sax lines. \n\n\n\nTheatre Of Hate’s debut double-A-side single\, “Legion”/”Original Sin”\, topped the independent chart in 1980\, and “Westworld”\, their debut album\, produced by Mick Jones from The Clash and released in 1982\, held the number one position for 21 weeks. The single taken from the album\, “Do You Believe In The West- world?” has become an anthem and is still widely played in clubs and on international radio\, as well as featuring on numerous compilation albums. \n\n\n\nTheatre Of Hate imploded in 1982\, with Kirk taking Stan forward to form Spear Of Destiny\, but the band has resurfaced over the years to play some very special shows. \n\n\n\nHaving been asked by John Curd to join The Damned for a massive show at London’s infamous Round- house in December 2014 the band once again joined the fray. A short set of dates around the London Roundhouse anchor show attracted rave reviews. \n\n\n\n2015 saw the band play two short jaunts across the UK in April and December both sets of dates wowed large crowds.Whilst touring the band recorded and released\, Kinshi funded by a fans pledge campaign – the first new studio album in 30+ years. The 12 track album launched in November 2016 sublimely linked the past and present to great press and fan acclaim leading to further extensive live shows across the UK\, Europe and the USA. \n\n\n\nWith a now settled line up of Kirk Brandon\, Stan Stammers\, Chris Bell & Clive Osborne (currently deputising for John Lennard) the band released two EP’s I.Sensou (War) & II.Heiwa (Peace) in 2019 which have maintained the ongoing success and paved the way for the bands latest and\, appropriately named\, studio album\, A Thing Of Beauty\, again funded by the growing fanbase via very specially packaged releases on CD & Vinyl. Recorded during the 2020 lockdowns and officially released in March 2021 this venture has already become a favourite amongst the loyal fanbase\, many shows to support the release followed. \n\n\n\nDuring 2023 TOH joined both The Mission and The Chameleons for a now legendary 39 date coast to coast of the USA\, sell out shows with The Mission in Manchester\, Whitby and London’s Roundhouse finished the year. \n\n\n\n2024 will see TOH release a completely re-recorded and re-worked version of their iconic 1982 ‘Westworld” album\, many many live shows are planned across the globe… \n\n\n\nLIVE REVIEWS “The setlist is packed with classic Theatre of Hate tracks\, from ‘The Wake’\, through to ‘Legion’ and ‘Original Sin’\, as well as ‘Incinerator’ and ‘My \n\n\n\nOwn Invention’. ‘Judgment Hymn’ soars\, ‘Propaganda’ roars; ‘63’ is flawless\, ‘Rebel Without A Brain’ kicks you in the chest. The quality of songs and their performance is relentless.” Alan Neilson – gettothefront.co.uk \n\n\n\n“We have seen the Stranglers\, SLF\, The Damned and Killing Joke go from strength to strength in the past few years and with performances this powerful and this spell binding it won’t be long before Theatre Of hate join them” John Robb – Louder Than War \n\n\n\n“ What a fantastic band\, playing music that comes from outer space and refuses to be bracketed. Every note conjured by the melding of dark and light energy into a fury of anger\, love and power” Juniper Gavin – Vive Le Rock! \n\n\n\nEARLY REVIEWS FOR “A Thing of Beauty” “Oozes every ounce of Theatre of Hate\, mesmerising sax\, haunting bass\, rhythmic skins\, slight but perfect guitar\, and vocals that make the hair at the back of your neck stand up on end…’’ \n\n\n\n“i’m lovin all the tracks for different reasons. It’s a blinding album and a great way to end this year on a high note! Long live The Hate!” \n\n\n\n“Did not expect that – absolutely brilliant from the first note to the last…sounds 2020 fresh but stamped with 1982 at its core…the range and depth of this maspterpiece should not be missed….stick it on\, settle back and prepare to be in awe of master craftsmen at work”

SUMMARY:The Twilight Sad
DESCRIPTION:“If the world was a better place they would be playing to more people\, and I think they can.” – Robert Smith\, The Cure \n\n\n\nFrom their unassuming origins as a group of school friends drawn together by a shared passion for music to the global touring force they have quietly become\, The Twilight Sad’s ascent has been forged the old way with grit\, graft and five exceptional studio albums. The Kilsyth group – based around the core duo of James Graham and Andy MacFarlane – seemed to emerge fully formed with their blindsiding 2007 debut Fourteen Autumns and Fifteen Winters but there has been an undeniable evolution throughout the critically acclaimed body of work they have since produced. The band’s last album\, 2019’s IT WON/T BE LIKE THIS ALL THE TIME\, was released to both critical acclaim and commercial success\, marking a new high in the beloved Scottish band’s trajectory to date. \n\n\n\n+ deary

SUMMARY:Lone Assembly + Ro Nova
DESCRIPTION:Lone Assembly are a Swiss quartet blending new wave\, romantic synthpop and dark\, melancholic post-punk. Formed by Raphaël Bressler (vocals\, keyboards)\, Glenn Le Meur (guitar)\, Jim Bodeman (bass) and Romain Segu (drums)\, the band broke through in 2024 with their debut EP That Never Happened — a release rooted in themes of grief\, emotional distance and vulnerability\, pairing ’80s cold-wave textures with sharp modern production. \n\n\n\nTheir forthcoming debut album Knots & Chains\, due February 2026 via Irascible Records\, expands on this world with thunderous basslines\, hypnotic rhythms\, reverb-soaked guitars and atmospheric synths underpinning Bressler’s deep\, resonant vocals. Known for their striking gothic-inspired visuals and growing reputation for powerful live shows\, Lone Assembly have quickly built a dedicated following across the new-wave and dark-wave scenes\, while retaining undeniable pop appeal. \n\n\n\nRo Nova is a London-based electropop artist and producer blending ’80s synth textures with ethereal vocals to create a sound that feels both nostalgic and forward-looking. Since the release of her debut single “do you think it’s fine?”\, she has received support from BBC Radio 1\, BBC London and Reprezent Radio\, alongside tastemakers including Harriet Rose (KISS FM) and James Threlfall (BBC Introducing). \n\n\n\nA feature with German electronic heavyweight Schiller helped expand her audience internationally\, following the album Illuminate reaching No.1 in Germany. Ro Nova has since toured Europe with Schiller\, including performances at Berlin’s Uber Arena\, and has collaborated with Grammy Award-winners Fred again.. and Kamille\, alongside sessions with RAYE\, MNEK and Toddla T. Following standout sets at The Great Escape Festival and London’s Scala\, Ro Nova recently headlined SJQ Dalston and will join Lone Assembly on their 2026 UK tour.

SUMMARY:BlakLight + TBC
DESCRIPTION:BlakLight is Los Angeles based dark synthpop trio Adam Collier (Beautiful Crisis\, SilverScene)\, Brian Belknap (Mind Machine) & Omar Quiñones (Vain Machine). Formed by Adam and Brian in early 2020\, the band released the singles “Isolation” and “Unknown Love” before quickly unleashing their critically acclaimed debut album\, ‘Music in a Time of Uncertainty’. \n\n\n\nAfter an additional single\, “Control”\, an onslaught of remix EPs\, compilation tracks and numerous remixes for other artists\, BlakLight set their sights on a second album. “Nightmares” and “Reset” built anticipation for the follow-up\, ‘Into the Void’\, released in late 2021. ‘Into The Void’ crafts songs of both light and darkness\, while expanding the band’s electronic musical template. Finding the album on top of many year-end lists\, they closed out 2021 with another single\, “Crack”\, backed with their take on the Echo & The Bunnymen classic\, “The Killing Moon”. \n\n\n\n2022 saw the band release the title track from ‘Into the Void’ and make their live debut playing shows alongside Aesthetic Perfection\, Matte Blvck\, and others. They soon assembled the sprawling twenty track\, remix double album\, ‘Out of The Void – The Remixes’\, featuring two unique twists of every song from ‘Into the Void’\, constructed by the likes of Aesthetic Perfection\, Assemblage 23\, Beborn Beton\, Black Light Odyssey\, Eisfabrik\, Kontraviod\, Solar Fake and many more. BlakLight closed out the year with the release of ‘Innocence Lost’ EP\, while 2023 began with the re-release of two previously released exclusive compilation tracks\, “Coma” and “Wicked Face” and their instrumental-ish album\, ‘The Padded Room’. \n\n\n\nBlakLight believe that music can make a difference and has contributed multiple exclusive tracks to compilations curated by Los Angeles based music collective Darkness Calling\, https://darknesscalling.bandca…\, with all proceeds donated to the Transgender Law Center. \n\n\n\nThe duo has now expanded to a trio\, adding the talented and versatile Omar Quiñones from Vain Machine on synths and backing vocals\, and have shared stages with Traitrs\, Glass Spells\, Urban Heat\, Male Tears\, The New Division\, Empathy Test\, Solar Fake\, Beborn Beton\, Anything Box\, Assemblage 23\, Leæther Strip\, Die Sexual\, Sleek Teeth\, State of The Union\, NITE\, I Speak Machine and more\, with slots at Absolution Fest\, Out from The Shadows Festival\, Mechanismus Festival and Terminal Fest. The trio released several standalone singles in 2024\, ‘BlakChristmas’\, their spin on the Church’s “Reptile”\, “A Stranger Calls” / “Blinded by The Sun” plus “Blind Vision”\, the first taste of BlakLight’s fourth album\, ‘The Haunting of Us’. The follow up singles\, “Buried Alive” and “Leave a Light On”\, hit the airwaves prior to the December release of ‘The Haunting of Us’. \n\n\n\nThe band kicked off the new year with the addition of a new live member\, Suede Flores from Carved Souls\, before they embark to play Dark Force Fest\, a Mexican tour and Wave-Gotik Treffen\, marking the band’s European debut.

SUMMARY:In The Black Midsommar: Byronic Sex & Exile + Cadence Noir + Dierotica + The Glass House Museum + Passion Play + Jan Doyle Band + John Merrick's Remains + Syd.31 + Tommy Biscuits + Jackhno + Dierotica + Sister Chain & Brother John
DESCRIPTION:We’re trying a summer festival! In Doncaster at a fabulous venue which has roots going back to 1740! \n\n\n\nThe Doncaster Unitarians are a wonderfully open minded religious organisation operating under the banner of Christianity but absolutely pro LGBTQ+ and basically everything good. And basically pretty much open to everyone.. \n\n\n\nIn this event (full details of acts to be fully confirmed) we have (in alphabetical order) \n\n\n\nByronic Sex & Exile – The ultimate in romantic era goth fabulous. A staple at many of our events over the years and head honcho of Goth City. Has played many festivals such as Deadinburgh\, Infest and Tomorrows Ghosts.. \n\n\n\nDierotica who were going to be playing the Sheffield festival last year but sadly couldn’t make it in the end. A supremely fine example of a classic goth sound mixed with a touch of shoegaze. They have always hugely impressed us and now have added a drummer to make things even more fabulous.. \n\n\n\nJan Doyle Band – The band ubiquitous to Night Shift events as they are the band behind the promotion and indeed writing this right now. And this event is also the 50th birthday party of Derek who is the head honcho of that project.. \n\n\n\nJackhno – Doncaster’s super techno punk. Bliteringly danceable tunes with a frequently political side. You can bet this is all very very anti Tory/Reform et al. Jackhno often known for hosting music events at Doncaster Skate park\, being involved in other festivals of the past (such as Mother Fhungus) and various Emoms and some amazing DJ sets. \n\n\n\nJohn Merrick’s Remains – Doncaster’s fabulous electro goths who also have been a significant staple of Night Shift events over the years.. Now with a new line up from the original that you would have seen at our festival two years ago in Sheffield… \n\n\n\nPassion Play – Doncaster’s post punk stalwarts run by Tony Nicholson who now fronts John Merrick’s Remains too. Tony also played the first Night Shift event in 2016 in Doncaster.. \n\n\n\nSyd.31 – The monsters of Industrial Punk (with actually some Doncaster roots after a fashion) and who played the second Night Shift event way back in 2016 at the Leopard here in Doncaster.. A powerful explosion on stage and powerful no holds barred sound… \n\n\n\nTommy Biscuits – AKA Lawrence Mahmood of the Papashangos. Hugely involved and renowned in the punk scene and known for being quite the anarchic performer – mixing on stage wildness with a certain sense of the ridiculous and absurd. The name may reference a certain other Tommy that has been a problem but sounds more like some fruit juice drink.. A totally unique experience. \n\n\n\nMore details coming soon

SUMMARY:Poisonous Little Creatures
DESCRIPTION:After an absence of 36 years\, Poisonous Little Creatures make their return to the stage. It will be the band’s first gig for over three decades when they return at The Hallamshire Hotel\, West Street\, on Saturday 20th June\, 2026.: the only venue they played back in the day that hasn’t been either demo’ed or closed down!  \n\n\n\nWith founding member Pete Vanston retired from the stage\, Denzil Watson (vocals)\, Kirk Nelson (guitars) and Michael Fearnley (drums) are joined by Denzil’s ex-RepoMen bandmate Simon Tiller on bass and Lee Bradley on keyboards. \n\n\n\nSonically the band take their influences from the 80’s indie/goth rock\, including The Cure\, The Sisters of Mercy and Joy Division as they revisit all of the old PLC classics. \n\n\n\nThe band’s back catalogue has now been remastering and given a digital release via Phantom Power Records including their debut single “Head” b/w “Change Your Mind” and their debut and sole album\, “Absolutely Nothing”.  \n\n\n\nSpecial guests on the night will be confirmed shortly.

SUMMARY:Ghost Dance + Snide Remarks + Analogue Blood
DESCRIPTION:Georgian TheatreGhostdanceSaturday\, July 18\, 2026 – 7:30 pm£16.50 ADVBOOK NOW1985-1989 \n\n\n\nGhost Dance was originally formed in 1985 by Anne Marie Hurst (formerly of Skeletal Family) and Gary Marx (from The Sisters of Mercy). The band quickly built a strong following\, spending several weeks high in the indie charts with a string of singles and an album on the Karbon label. During this time\, they toured extensively with acts such as The Cult\, The Mission\, All About Eve\, The Wonder Stuff\, and Killing Joke\, and appeared at the Reading Rock Festival in 1988. \n\n\n\nAfter signing with Chrysalis Records\, Ghost Dance released their major-label album Stop the World and recorded radio sessions for the likes of John Peel\, Janice Long\, and Nicky Campbell. They also developed a huge European following\, with TV appearances in Spain\, Germany\, the UK\, and Canada. The band eventually disbanded in 1989 after completing a tour in Germany with The Ramones. \n\n\n\n2021-2024 \n\n\n\nIn 2021\, Ghost Dance unveiled a new line-up featuring Anne Marie Hurst\, quickly gaining momentum with YouTube videos surpassing 100\,000 views and a series of well-received singles and live shows. Highlights included performing as special guests of Fields of the Nephilim at the sold-out Tomorrow’s Ghosts Festival in Whitby (2022)\, alongside appearances in Belgium\, Sweden\, and Mexico. \n\n\n\nThe following year\, the band released their long-awaited album The Silent Shout (2023)\, which received rave reviews. The record debuted at No.1 on the iTunes Goth Rock chart\, while the CD continues to rank highly and remains an Amazon best-seller within the genre. \n\n\n\n2025 Relaunch \n\n\n\nThe increased touring and recording workload impacted the availability of some of the band members. So in 2025 after a number of guest musicians passed through the ranks\, Anne Marie rebuilt the band with a solidified lineup\, renewed vigour and plans for a string of UK and international shows. \n\n\n\nSupport Snide Remarks (Alternative Punk Rock n Roll). plus Analogue Blood (Alternative Techno Dance Rock)

SUMMARY:Reliquia + Hurtsfall + Mrs Frighthouse
DESCRIPTION:A profoundly eclectic concert bill celebrating different and diverse sounds from the UK’s dark alternative underground. From gothic rock\, to post-punk doom to industrial noise. \n\n\n\n“Reliquia is a UK-based five-piece crafting emotionally charged\, atmospheric music that merges post-punk urgency\, post-rock scale\, and the weight of heavy alternative music into a sound that prioritizes dark atmospheres\, anthemic songwriting and heavy\, crushing emotion.Formed by vocalist Gregg Neville (Spire Circle\, Golden Gardens) and guitarist Tobias Gray (The Machinist)\, the lineup is completed by George Kal (guitars)\, Andy Lindley (bass)\, and Karim Nashar (drums).Since emerging onto the UK live circuit in 2023\, the band has shared stages with artists across the darker and more experimental ends of the alternative spectrum\, including Darkest Era\, Hexvessel\, Godthrymm\, Scandelion\, Night Hexe\, and industrial pioneers Attrition. Their sets have quickly gained a reputation for being aggressive\, intense\, theatrical and emotional.” \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n“Mrs Frighthouse is Carys and Luna Frighthouse\, a wife and wife industrial noise metal duo from Glasgow. Their unique blend of harsh sonic dissonance and chaos combined with beautiful heart-wrenching vocals has seen them play headline shows and festivals across the UK. \n\n\n\nThey confront issues of misogyny\, homophobia and transphobia in performances that feel in equal parts disturbing and cathartic.”\n\n\n\n“Hurtsfall have a unique approach: with no guitars\, keyboards and Bass VI build a rich soundscape as a foundation for Sam Harrison Emm’s distinctive theatrical delivery. Hurtsfall blend gothic rock\, post-punk\, and synth/pop\, recalling the essence of your favourites with a fresh genre-spanning twist. Based in Nottingham\, the ancestral home of Lord Byron\, they share his penchant for romantic verses.”

SUMMARY:She Past Away + Actors
DESCRIPTION:Night Terrors will be hosting a double-bill of She Past Away + ACTORS at Dalston’s EartH Hall this September. \n\n\n\nSHE PAST AWAY is a dark wave/post-punk duo\, consisting of Volkan Caner (vocal\, guitars and songwriting) and Doruk Ozturkcan (drums\, synths and production). Experimenting old/new aesthetic of synth music into their core guitar stuff\, She Past Away forged a sound\, an attitude\, and a sensibility\, conveyed through a minimalist poetry sung in Turkish\, which sweeps the audience through a dense\, continual epic trip in both their recordings and live performances. \n\n\n\nACTORS is a Canadian post-punk/darkwave band from Vancouver\, formed in 2012 by Jason Corbett (vocals\, guitar)\, known for their cinematic\, synth-driven sound that blends classic 80s new wave with modern flair\, alongside Shannon Hemmett (keyboards\, vocals)\, Kendall Wooding (bass\, vocals)\, and Adam Fink (drums). They gained prominence with albums like It Will Come To You (2018) and Acts of Worship (2021)\, blending moody atmospheres\, driving rhythms\, and anthemic hooks\, establishing themselves as key figures in the contemporary darkwave scene.

SUMMARY:Cabaret Voltaire + Gazelle Twin
DESCRIPTION:Stephen ‘Mal’ Mallinder and Chris Watson have announced details of their Final UK Tour\, starting on 10 October 2026 at Birmingham Town Hall and finishing at the Sheffield Octagon on 25 October\, with Gazelle Twin confirmed as special guest across all the dates. \n\n\n\nThese dates follow news of this year’s highly anticipated sold-out tour\, which marks 50 years since the live launch of one of Britain’s most influential electronic bands\, Cabaret Voltaire\, at the Sheffield Students Union Refectory on 13 May 1975. \n\n\n\nTalking about the newly announced dates\, Stephen Mallinder\, says: “What a wonderful opportunity to go round the block one more time and share that with one of the most unique and spectacular artists we know. The connective tissue between ourselves\, our history\, and the world Gazelle Twin now conjures up\, will be out there and shared with people. It seems like a special\, magical moment. ”Composer\, producer\, and performance artist Elizabeth Bernholz\, aka Gazelle Twin\, will be special guest across the tour: “Pinch me. Go on. I’m feeling excessively lucky at the prospect of touring with Cabaret Voltaire in 2026. They are electronic music pioneers\, but also the loveliest\, kindest folk in music that I could ever hope to share the stage with. \n\n\n\nIn the current climate of social turmoil and political manipulation\, the prescient work of Cabaret Voltaire continues to be necessary. The sounds\, words\, images and films of the band still resonate loudly\, continuing to challenge the status quo. The events in 2025 and 2026 will curate this essential work and to acknowledge the timeless energy and to mark the continuing significance and power of what Cabaret Voltaire achieved. Original members Chris Watson and Stephen Mallinder are committed to stay true to the enduring vision of Cabaret Voltaire. The performance will cover the arc of their formidable output – from early experiments\, and the first Rough Trade / Factory releases\, through the band’s Doublevision video label and into the work with renowned producers such as Adrian Sherwood and Marshall Jefferson. Stephen Mallinder explains\, “The live set is built from scratch but faithful to the original tracks. Everything has been painstakingly reconstructed with the original technology and processes to build the tracks. But as with all Cabs live shows there is an element of unpredictable\, the new. Chance meets causality.”

SUMMARY:The Witching Tale + Jan Doyle Band + Greystone Sisters
DESCRIPTION:We’re delighted to present a somewhat mysterious spooky and etherial Halloween show with The Witching Tale who are comprised of Katherine Blake known from Miranda Sex Garden and The Mediaeval Baebes and Michael J York from Current 93 and The Utopia Strong. This fantastic\,mostly electronics driven\, project merges incredible ethereal vocals with atmospheric isoundscapes. Drawing inspiration from folklore\, nature\, and the arcane\, the duo weaves a hauntingly beautiful musical path that blend ancient themes with modern textures\, creating a mesmerizing journey through mystical storytelling and bewitching melodies. \n\n\n\nhttp://linktr.ee/thewitchingtale \n\n\n\nWith support from Jan Doyle Band who\, while known for somewhat wild explosive Goth performances\, have promised to explore the more subtle elements of their work whilst still maintaining the typically glamorous presentation \n\n\n\nLinktr.ee/jandoyleband \n\n\n\nPLUS\, and this is quite a scoop we feel. we finally present the DEBUT live show of sheffield goth duo The Greystone Sisters who achived much notability with the likes of Mick Mercer with their only released works The Veil and Paranoia\, remarking on how the former offered a “queasy romance” (lyrically) and also “largely lives on vocals and bass alone”.Paranoia he said has sharp delivery an impressive sour charm. \n\n\n\nGreystonesisters.bandcamp.comTickets: £14.00 (+ Booking fee) \n\n\n\nEvent Details \n\n\n\n\nDoors: 8.00pm\n\n\n\nPerformance: 8.30pm\n\n\n\nLocation: The Samuel Worth Chapel\, Sheffield\, S11 8NT\n\n\n\nAccessibility: The Samuel Worth Chapel is fully accessible.\n\n\n\nFacilities: The Samuel Worth Chapel has a fully licensed bar selling local beers\, wine and spirits.\n\n\n\nTickets: All tickets are sold online via Ticketsource. SUMMARY:Brides of The Black Room + Promenade Cinema
DESCRIPTION:The Brides of the Black Room \n\n\n\nA secret society\, existing as nothing more than a whisper through history\, The Brides of the Black room began it´s unmasking in late 2020. \n\n\n\nOnce hunted as witches\, and now reclaiming the title as their birthright\, the coven seeks to bring balance to the shadows they’ve had to call their home. Serving the omnipotent entity they know as \n\n\n\n“Mother”\, the Brides took up arms against any that would see them brought back down into obscurity. \n\n\n\nIn season 1/album 1 “Blood and Fire” (2022)\, the Brides was fronted by a trinity of unexpected spearhead siblings with ancient rites and ever shifting technology as their weapons. \n\n\n\nIn season two Alazam wakes up after the blast of whatever was going on to find herself in a somewhat Nangijala state. And so the struggle continues. Who´s in command? Over what? What is the struggle? \n\n\n\nWho is the enemy? \n\n\n\nSeason 2/Album 2 called “Commander” (2025) presented the cult taking new steps further into the story revealing the characters behind the curtains that were there since the beginning of the story; Coyote\, Lynx & Ghostheart. \n\n\n\nThe Brides of the Black Room is now heading on their first tour after only exclusive concerts in their home city of Stockholm. \n\n\n\nPromenade Cinema \n\n\n\nPromenade Cinema create cinematic synthpop with dark allure and melodic intensity. Lush synths and compelling vocals build songs that stay with you long after they end. Their music draws you into a world of shadow and splendour\, where emotion and atmosphere take centre stage. \n\n\n\nFollowing the popularity of their recent singles Play With Fate and Under Review – new album AFTERLIFE cements Promenade Cinema’s reputation as one of the UK’s most distinctive electronic duos. The physical album & digital download is available via Bandcamp: https://promenadecinema.bandca… \n\n\n\nOn stage\, Promenade Cinema have built a reputation for immersive performances across Europe\, appearing at festivals including Infest (UK)\, ElectriXmas (Sweden)\, Resistanz (UK)\, Fame Festival (Poland)\, and NCN Festival (Germany). \n\n\n\nRefined\, evocative\, and unforgettable.

SUMMARY:Covenant Legacy UK Tour + TBC
DESCRIPTION:COVENANT 1986-2026We live in confusing times\, in the dusk of mankind. We want to tell stories and sing about how that makes us feel. In a world that has stopped making sense\, we need to learn how to see in the dark. Covenant is a triumphant embrace of the strength and resilience of the soul. It’s the dystopian\, unforgiving song of our dreams born in the shadow of the cold war. Our music is a monument of our failures and as beautiful as a collapsed star. \n\n\n\n26t of April 1986\, on the very eve of the Chernobyl disaster\, Covenant was founded after having their senses blinded by Front 242 in Malmö at the legendary venue Stadt Hamburg. \n\n\n\nThe aggressive beats and uncompromising attitude mixed with the pop flavour of their new song Don’t Crash made a deep impression and only 5 months later Clas\, Eskil and Joakim had their first show\, with own songs\, and the band have since performed in 42 countries over 6 continents and released over 120 songs. In 2026 the band would like to invite you and together reflect on the times and celebrate 40 years of “pop with an edge”! In a string of extended concerts\, spanning two and a half hours\, the band will perform songs from every album with setlists voted by the fans and you. We are honoured and grateful for every moment we shared\, thank you for the music. \n\n\n\nFounding members Joakim Montelius and Eskil Simonsson are currently working on a new album. Like a probing Nautilus\, changing with change\, moving within motion and steering straight through black waters\, we will never rest\, we will never abandon. \n\n\n\nWelcome to the void. \n\n\n\nDiscography1994 – Dreams of a Cryotank1996 – Sequencer1998 – Europa2000 – United States of Mind2000 – Synergy (Live in Europe)2002 – Northern Light2006 – Skyshaper2007 – In Transit (Live Documentary)2011 – Modern Ruin2013 – Leaving Babylon2016 – The Blinding Dark2019 – Fieldworks: Exkursion \n\n\n\nThe band is currently working on their 10th studio album.
