Welcome to The Goth Calendar, an attempt to help people find which Goth gigs and club nights are happening in our busy busy times.

Hopefully this will help you find when your favourite goth band is playing next, or when your favourite goth club is next happening, providing someone has submitted it of course!

Is something missing? Then go submit it!

Mutant Movement: Phono Piers Guest DJ

The Warehouse, Leeds 19 – 21 Somers Street, Leeds

Deep in the chasms beneath Leeds Merrion Centre, the sound of Goths can be heard through the walls from 40 years ago and now they're back…

Only a wall or two separates the rooms between what's now The Key Club, formerly Subculture and the infamous Phono or Le Phonographique to give it the full name.
Leeds is considered by many to be the Birthplace of Goth, essentially due to The Sisters Of Mercy who formed in 1980 and were joined by Wayne Hussey some years later. Hussey left along with Craig Adams in 1986 to form The Mission.

Join us for this celebration after The Mission play Leeds O2 Academy, whether you attend the gig or not. As well as a chunk of songs by The Mission & Sisters Of Mercy, dance until 2am to all the best from other 80s Goth acts too, including Bauhaus, Birthday Party, Bolshoi, Chameleons, Christian Death, Clan Of Xymox, Cramps, Cult, Cure, Fields of the Nephilim, Front 242, Ghost Dance, Gun Club, Killing Joke, March Violets, Ministry, New Model Army, Nine Inch Nails, Red Lorry Yellow Lorry, Rosetta Stone, Sex Gang Children, Siouxsie & The Banshees, Skeletal Family, Spear Of Destiny, Theatre Of Hate, Virgin Prunes, Xmal Deutschland, as well as a splash of Punk & New Wave.
