SUMMARY:NITE + Das Fluff
DESCRIPTION:NITE BIOGRAPHY: \n\n\n\nBig\, dark\, dance music. Guitars\, synthesizers\, and dueling twin vocalist combine to make the songs you’ll dance to for the next thirty years. \n\n\n\nNITE is an alternative band inspired by the sounds of Darkwave\, Synthpop\, and Post-Punk. Based in Texas\, twin brothers Myles and Kyle Mendes\, along with drummer Phil Helms\, craft music that bridges the gap between dark nostalgia and modern electronic pop. \n\n\n\nTheir recent singles—All Your Pain\, Have Mercy\, Price For Heaven\, and Our Light Will Never Die—showcase their ability to blend haunting melodies with driving beats. All Your Pain gained viral attention through Facebook and Instagram nostalgia posts\, earning a spot on Spotify’s Dark and Gothic playlist and solidifying NITE’s reputation as a band to watch. \n\n\n\nFresh off tours with Dead on a Sunday\, The Funeral Portrait\, Small Black\, Empathy Test\, and The New Division\, NITE has captivated audiences across the country with their magnetic live performances. Whether crafting songs about love\, loss\, or resilience\, NITE continues to illuminate the darker corners of the human experience. \n\n\n\nNITE – “Price For Heaven”https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JnHeNcE-ICw \n\n\n\nNITE – “All Your Pain”https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PgQ_Kbj83rk… \n\n\n\nNITE websitehttps://wearethenite.com/music

SUMMARY:She Past Away + Actors
DESCRIPTION:Night Terrors will be hosting a double-bill of She Past Away + ACTORS at Dalston’s EartH Hall this September. \n\n\n\nSHE PAST AWAY is a dark wave/post-punk duo\, consisting of Volkan Caner (vocal\, guitars and songwriting) and Doruk Ozturkcan (drums\, synths and production). Experimenting old/new aesthetic of synth music into their core guitar stuff\, She Past Away forged a sound\, an attitude\, and a sensibility\, conveyed through a minimalist poetry sung in Turkish\, which sweeps the audience through a dense\, continual epic trip in both their recordings and live performances. \n\n\n\nACTORS is a Canadian post-punk/darkwave band from Vancouver\, formed in 2012 by Jason Corbett (vocals\, guitar)\, known for their cinematic\, synth-driven sound that blends classic 80s new wave with modern flair\, alongside Shannon Hemmett (keyboards\, vocals)\, Kendall Wooding (bass\, vocals)\, and Adam Fink (drums). They gained prominence with albums like It Will Come To You (2018) and Acts of Worship (2021)\, blending moody atmospheres\, driving rhythms\, and anthemic hooks\, establishing themselves as key figures in the contemporary darkwave scene.

SUMMARY:Test Dept + Sophie Sirota
DESCRIPTION:Baba Yaga’s Hut present: \n\n\n\nTest Dept + Sophie Sirota at Oslo\, October 8th \n\n\n\nFrom the outset\, Test Dept were lauded for their innovative use of found objects\, scrap metal and industrial detritus as instruments. The group’s unique blend of aggressive percussion\, noise\, distorted samples and experimental soundscapes also reflected their commitment to challenging the status quo\, most famously in 1984 when they ventured into the industrial communities of Britain to perform live with the South Wales Striking Miner’s Choir\, raising money and awareness for that cause.
\n\n\n\nEnvisioning themselves as part of a broader cultural movement exploring the intersection of art and social change\, their collaborative instinct led to the formation of The Ministry of Power\, an umbrella organisation for working collectively on multidisciplinary projects that integrated music\, movement\, theatre\, film and political activism. This led to large scale multi-media productions in disused industrial spaces and unusual environments. \n\n\n\n2015 saw the publication of an extensive book entitled ‘Total State Machine’ that chronicled Test Dept’s history\, philosophy and work\, while the ‘Disturbance’ album issued in 2019 incorporated expansive electronic production and was promoted with a tour. In 2023 the group was commissioned by the arts organisation A/POLITICAL to create the new large-scale work ‘Furnace’ in an old iron foundry in southern France. This is an ongoing relationship that has further works in the pipeline. \n\n\n\n2025 was a pivotal year as they linked-up with Canadian label Artoffact Records to commence an extensive back catalogue reissue campaign\, the first fruits of which was the 4CD set “Industrial Overture” covering their earliest material and included rare and unreleased recordings including 2 John Peel sessions. They also re-emerged with a new approach to live performances: an electronically-focussed set which\, with its incorporation of film and acoustic and percussive instrumentation\, loses none of the power and impact that is synonymous with Test Dept. \n\n\n\nA new album is currently being worked during 2026 with further reissues and live appearances planned.

SUMMARY:XPQ-21 + Deviant
DESCRIPTION:After many years in hiatus\, Berlin’s XPQ-21 are back! With an exclusive London show to launch their new album OVERGOD! \n\n\n\nXPQ-21 opens an uncompromising chapter. Focused\, relentless\, and with a clear sound that reflects the radical nature of his artistic path and accepts no boundaries. After a deep rupture and a complete reorientation\, an album emerged that is more than just music: it is the result of a profound confrontation. It is the reflection of a search for identity\, meaning and expression. \n\n\n\nEvery track is part of this journey; every shift\, every contrast an expression of a transformation that has led XPQ-21 to a new sharpness. The pieces unfold an enormous range: from the intensity of brutal hardness\, to the driving energy of club tracks\, to moments of poetic depth. EBM\, rock\,drum’n’bass and electronics do not merge here by accident\, but flow into each other\, held together by a sound design with striking sovereignty – the expression of a production that shapes its contrasts into a powerful whole\, precise and intense at the same time. This album is not a cautious step\, but a clearstatement. With uncompromising sound\, artistic freedom\, and grand complexity\, XPQ-21 makes a mark in the electronic music scene – and true to Jeyênne’s guiding principle “Destroy to Create\,” shows that music is all the more powerful when itcarries the entire journey from darkness to clarity within itself. Thus\, Jeyênne presents himself as an experienced artist who\, after years of silence\, does not simply pick up where he left off but opens a new chapter:more mature\, more demanding\, and more intense than ever!

SUMMARY:Cabaret Voltaire + Gazelle Twin
DESCRIPTION:Stephen ‘Mal’ Mallinder and Chris Watson have announced details of their Final UK Tour\, starting on 10 October 2026 at Birmingham Town Hall and finishing at the Sheffield Octagon on 25 October\, with Gazelle Twin confirmed as special guest across all the dates. \n\n\n\nThese dates follow news of this year’s highly anticipated sold-out tour\, which marks 50 years since the live launch of one of Britain’s most influential electronic bands\, Cabaret Voltaire\, at the Sheffield Students Union Refectory on 13 May 1975. \n\n\n\nTalking about the newly announced dates\, Stephen Mallinder\, says: “What a wonderful opportunity to go round the block one more time and share that with one of the most unique and spectacular artists we know. The connective tissue between ourselves\, our history\, and the world Gazelle Twin now conjures up\, will be out there and shared with people. It seems like a special\, magical moment. ”Composer\, producer\, and performance artist Elizabeth Bernholz\, aka Gazelle Twin\, will be special guest across the tour: “Pinch me. Go on. I’m feeling excessively lucky at the prospect of touring with Cabaret Voltaire in 2026. They are electronic music pioneers\, but also the loveliest\, kindest folk in music that I could ever hope to share the stage with. \n\n\n\nIn the current climate of social turmoil and political manipulation\, the prescient work of Cabaret Voltaire continues to be necessary. The sounds\, words\, images and films of the band still resonate loudly\, continuing to challenge the status quo. The events in 2025 and 2026 will curate this essential work and to acknowledge the timeless energy and to mark the continuing significance and power of what Cabaret Voltaire achieved. Original members Chris Watson and Stephen Mallinder are committed to stay true to the enduring vision of Cabaret Voltaire. The performance will cover the arc of their formidable output – from early experiments\, and the first Rough Trade / Factory releases\, through the band’s Doublevision video label and into the work with renowned producers such as Adrian Sherwood and Marshall Jefferson. Stephen Mallinder explains\, “The live set is built from scratch but faithful to the original tracks. Everything has been painstakingly reconstructed with the original technology and processes to build the tracks. But as with all Cabs live shows there is an element of unpredictable\, the new. Chance meets causality.”

SUMMARY:Brides of The Black Room + Promenade Cinema
DESCRIPTION:The Brides of the Black Room \n\n\n\nA secret society\, existing as nothing more than a whisper through history\, The Brides of the Black room began it´s unmasking in late 2020. \n\n\n\nOnce hunted as witches\, and now reclaiming the title as their birthright\, the coven seeks to bring balance to the shadows they’ve had to call their home. Serving the omnipotent entity they know as \n\n\n\n“Mother”\, the Brides took up arms against any that would see them brought back down into obscurity. \n\n\n\nIn season 1/album 1 “Blood and Fire” (2022)\, the Brides was fronted by a trinity of unexpected spearhead siblings with ancient rites and ever shifting technology as their weapons. \n\n\n\nIn season two Alazam wakes up after the blast of whatever was going on to find herself in a somewhat Nangijala state. And so the struggle continues. Who´s in command? Over what? What is the struggle? \n\n\n\nWho is the enemy? \n\n\n\nSeason 2/Album 2 called “Commander” (2025) presented the cult taking new steps further into the story revealing the characters behind the curtains that were there since the beginning of the story; Coyote\, Lynx & Ghostheart. \n\n\n\nThe Brides of the Black Room is now heading on their first tour after only exclusive concerts in their home city of Stockholm. \n\n\n\nPromenade Cinema \n\n\n\nPromenade Cinema create cinematic synthpop with dark allure and melodic intensity. Lush synths and compelling vocals build songs that stay with you long after they end. Their music draws you into a world of shadow and splendour\, where emotion and atmosphere take centre stage. \n\n\n\nFollowing the popularity of their recent singles Play With Fate and Under Review – new album AFTERLIFE cements Promenade Cinema’s reputation as one of the UK’s most distinctive electronic duos. SUMMARY:Covenant Legacy UK Tour + TBC
DESCRIPTION:COVENANT 1986-2026We live in confusing times\, in the dusk of mankind. We want to tell stories and sing about how that makes us feel. In a world that has stopped making sense\, we need to learn how to see in the dark. Covenant is a triumphant embrace of the strength and resilience of the soul. It’s the dystopian\, unforgiving song of our dreams born in the shadow of the cold war. Our music is a monument of our failures and as beautiful as a collapsed star. \n\n\n\n26t of April 1986\, on the very eve of the Chernobyl disaster\, Covenant was founded after having their senses blinded by Front 242 in Malmö at the legendary venue Stadt Hamburg. \n\n\n\nThe aggressive beats and uncompromising attitude mixed with the pop flavour of their new song Don’t Crash made a deep impression and only 5 months later Clas\, Eskil and Joakim had their first show\, with own songs\, and the band have since performed in 42 countries over 6 continents and released over 120 songs. In 2026 the band would like to invite you and together reflect on the times and celebrate 40 years of “pop with an edge”! In a string of extended concerts\, spanning two and a half hours\, the band will perform songs from every album with setlists voted by the fans and you. We are honoured and grateful for every moment we shared\, thank you for the music. \n\n\n\nFounding members Joakim Montelius and Eskil Simonsson are currently working on a new album. Like a probing Nautilus\, changing with change\, moving within motion and steering straight through black waters\, we will never rest\, we will never abandon. \n\n\n\nWelcome to the void. \n\n\n\nDiscography1994 – Dreams of a Cryotank1996 – Sequencer1998 – Europa2000 – United States of Mind2000 – Synergy (Live in Europe)2002 – Northern Light2006 – Skyshaper2007 – In Transit (Live Documentary)2011 – Modern Ruin2013 – Leaving Babylon2016 – The Blinding Dark2019 – Fieldworks: Exkursion \n\n\n\nThe band is currently working on their 10th studio album.
