SUMMARY:BlakLight + TBC
DESCRIPTION:BlakLight is Los Angeles based dark synthpop trio Adam Collier (Beautiful Crisis\, SilverScene)\, Brian Belknap (Mind Machine) & Omar Quiñones (Vain Machine). Formed by Adam and Brian in early 2020\, the band released the singles “Isolation” and “Unknown Love” before quickly unleashing their critically acclaimed debut album\, ‘Music in a Time of Uncertainty’. \n\n\n\nAfter an additional single\, “Control”\, an onslaught of remix EPs\, compilation tracks and numerous remixes for other artists\, BlakLight set their sights on a second album. “Nightmares” and “Reset” built anticipation for the follow-up\, ‘Into the Void’\, released in late 2021. ‘Into The Void’ crafts songs of both light and darkness\, while expanding the band’s electronic musical template. Finding the album on top of many year-end lists\, they closed out 2021 with another single\, “Crack”\, backed with their take on the Echo & The Bunnymen classic\, “The Killing Moon”. \n\n\n\n2022 saw the band release the title track from ‘Into the Void’ and make their live debut playing shows alongside Aesthetic Perfection\, Matte Blvck\, and others. They soon assembled the sprawling twenty track\, remix double album\, ‘Out of The Void – The Remixes’\, featuring two unique twists of every song from ‘Into the Void’\, constructed by the likes of Aesthetic Perfection\, Assemblage 23\, Beborn Beton\, Black Light Odyssey\, Eisfabrik\, Kontraviod\, Solar Fake and many more. BlakLight closed out the year with the release of ‘Innocence Lost’ EP\, while 2023 began with the re-release of two previously released exclusive compilation tracks\, “Coma” and “Wicked Face” and their instrumental-ish album\, ‘The Padded Room’. \n\n\n\nBlakLight believe that music can make a difference and has contributed multiple exclusive tracks to compilations curated by Los Angeles based music collective Darkness Calling\, https://darknesscalling.bandca…\, with all proceeds donated to the Transgender Law Center. \n\n\n\nThe duo has now expanded to a trio\, adding the talented and versatile Omar Quiñones from Vain Machine on synths and backing vocals\, and have shared stages with Traitrs\, Glass Spells\, Urban Heat\, Male Tears\, The New Division\, Empathy Test\, Solar Fake\, Beborn Beton\, Anything Box\, Assemblage 23\, Leæther Strip\, Die Sexual\, Sleek Teeth\, State of The Union\, NITE\, I Speak Machine and more\, with slots at Absolution Fest\, Out from The Shadows Festival\, Mechanismus Festival and Terminal Fest. The trio released several standalone singles in 2024\, ‘BlakChristmas’\, their spin on the Church’s “Reptile”\, “A Stranger Calls” / “Blinded by The Sun” plus “Blind Vision”\, the first taste of BlakLight’s fourth album\, ‘The Haunting of Us’. The follow up singles\, “Buried Alive” and “Leave a Light On”\, hit the airwaves prior to the December release of ‘The Haunting of Us’. \n\n\n\nThe band kicked off the new year with the addition of a new live member\, Suede Flores from Carved Souls\, before they embark to play Dark Force Fest\, a Mexican tour and Wave-Gotik Treffen\, marking the band’s European debut.

It will be the band’s first gig for over three decades when they return at The Hallamshire Hotel\, West Street\, on Saturday 20th June\, 2026.: the only venue they played back in the day that hasn’t been either demo’ed or closed down!  \n\n\n\nWith founding member Pete Vanston retired from the stage\, Denzil Watson (vocals)\, Kirk Nelson (guitars) and Michael Fearnley (drums) are joined by Denzil’s ex-RepoMen bandmate Simon Tiller on bass and Lee Bradley on keyboards. \n\n\n\nSonically the band take their influences from the 80’s indie/goth rock\, including The Cure\, The Sisters of Mercy and Joy Division as they revisit all of the old PLC classics. \n\n\n\nThe band’s back catalogue has now been remastering and given a digital release via Phantom Power Records including their debut single “Head” b/w “Change Your Mind” and their debut and sole album\, “Absolutely Nothing”.  \n\n\n\nSpecial guests on the night will be confirmed shortly.

SUMMARY:Massive Ego + Dead Lights + Larva + The Silent Era
DESCRIPTION:Stigmata Presents The Symphony Of Flies UK TourMASSIVE EGO UK – 30th Anniversary Dates!DEAD LIGHTS (UK)LARVA (Spain) THE SILENT ERA (UK) \n\n\n\nMASSIVE EGO Biography: Formed in 1996\, UK synth-pop/electronic darkwave act Massive Ego emerged from the short-lived New Romantic revival known as Romo\, attracting early critical attention with a favourable live review in Melody Maker. Across a three-decade career marked by frequent line-up changes\, including members such as Dan Black (The Servant/Planet Funk) and Dean Bright (Dead Or Alive)\, the band has maintained a strong presence on the European alternative circuit\, appearing at festivals including Wave-Gotik-Treffen\, M’era Luna\, Amphi\, Infest\, and Whitby Goth Weekend\, alongside extensive touring throughout the UK and mainland Europe. Difficult to categorise stylistically\, Massive Ego combine confrontational lyricism with a striking visual identity\, epitomised by vocalist Marc Massive’s performative aesthetic\, earning them adevoted underground following. Releases such as Noise In The Machine (2014) and the albums Beautiful Suicide and Church for the Malfunctioned signalled a shift toward a darker and more abrasive sonic palette. In 2024\, guitarist Porl Young (Rosetta Stone) joined the long-standing core line-up.Throughout 2025\, Massive Ego unveiled four singles from their forthcoming new album. Their current single features guest vocals from Boy George alongside a remix from current dark scene favourites\, Actors\, signalling an especially significant period for the band as they navigate 2026\, reaffirming their enduring capacity for reinvention within the margins of electronic music culture. \n\n\n\nWith the announcement of their first-ever headline UK tour\, and new album\, Symphony Of Flies\, out on 8th May through Out Of Line Music\, it marks a high-profile 30th-anniversary year. \n\n\n\nDEAD LIGHTS Short Biography:Glamgoth? Dark Electro? Industrial Cyberfunk? Disguised as dark\, sleazy synthpop\, DEAD LIGHTS create their own personal blend of monumental synth bass lines and gritty sounds\, elaborate vocal arrangements and brutal\, dance-orientated beats. Founded in 2020\, the international duo Saul (UK) and Richard (NL) have defined their own style\, combining elements of glam\, goth and industrial with a modern\, personal twist. Their energetic live performance has brought them to many international venues and festivals. DEAD LIGHTS: progressive EBM for the 21st century. \n\n\n\nTHE SILENT ERA Short Biography: Distorted\, cinematic and intensely emotionalalt-rock from London. Touching on goth\, industrial\, shoegaze and post-punk.”….a remarkable band making extraordinary music.” – The Big Takeover“This album is extraordinary and defies easycategorization…”

SUMMARY:Cabaret Voltaire + Gazelle Twin
DESCRIPTION:Stephen ‘Mal’ Mallinder and Chris Watson have announced details of their Final UK Tour\, starting on 10 October 2026 at Birmingham Town Hall and finishing at the Sheffield Octagon on 25 October\, with Gazelle Twin confirmed as special guest across all the dates. \n\n\n\nThese dates follow news of this year’s highly anticipated sold-out tour\, which marks 50 years since the live launch of one of Britain’s most influential electronic bands\, Cabaret Voltaire\, at the Sheffield Students Union Refectory on 13 May 1975. \n\n\n\nTalking about the newly announced dates\, Stephen Mallinder\, says: “What a wonderful opportunity to go round the block one more time and share that with one of the most unique and spectacular artists we know. The connective tissue between ourselves\, our history\, and the world Gazelle Twin now conjures up\, will be out there and shared with people. It seems like a special\, magical moment. ”Composer\, producer\, and performance artist Elizabeth Bernholz\, aka Gazelle Twin\, will be special guest across the tour: “Pinch me. Go on. I’m feeling excessively lucky at the prospect of touring with Cabaret Voltaire in 2026. They are electronic music pioneers\, but also the loveliest\, kindest folk in music that I could ever hope to share the stage with. \n\n\n\nIn the current climate of social turmoil and political manipulation\, the prescient work of Cabaret Voltaire continues to be necessary. The sounds\, words\, images and films of the band still resonate loudly\, continuing to challenge the status quo. The events in 2025 and 2026 will curate this essential work and to acknowledge the timeless energy and to mark the continuing significance and power of what Cabaret Voltaire achieved. Original members Chris Watson and Stephen Mallinder are committed to stay true to the enduring vision of Cabaret Voltaire. The performance will cover the arc of their formidable output – from early experiments\, and the first Rough Trade / Factory releases\, through the band’s Doublevision video label and into the work with renowned producers such as Adrian Sherwood and Marshall Jefferson. Stephen Mallinder explains\, “The live set is built from scratch but faithful to the original tracks. Everything has been painstakingly reconstructed with the original technology and processes to build the tracks. But as with all Cabs live shows there is an element of unpredictable\, the new. Chance meets causality.”

SUMMARY:The Witching Tale + Jan Doyle Band + Greystone Sisters
DESCRIPTION:We’re delighted to present a somewhat mysterious spooky and etherial Halloween show with The Witching Tale who are comprised of Katherine Blake known from Miranda Sex Garden and The Mediaeval Baebes and Michael J York from Current 93 and The Utopia Strong. This fantastic\,mostly electronics driven\, project merges incredible ethereal vocals with atmospheric isoundscapes. Drawing inspiration from folklore\, nature\, and the arcane\, the duo weaves a hauntingly beautiful musical path that blend ancient themes with modern textures\, creating a mesmerizing journey through mystical storytelling and bewitching melodies. \n\n\n\nhttp://linktr.ee/thewitchingtale \n\n\n\nWith support from Jan Doyle Band who\, while known for somewhat wild explosive Goth performances\, have promised to explore the more subtle elements of their work whilst still maintaining the typically glamorous presentation \n\n\n\nLinktr.ee/jandoyleband \n\n\n\nPLUS\, and this is quite a scoop we feel. we finally present the DEBUT live show of sheffield goth duo The Greystone Sisters who achived much notability with the likes of Mick Mercer with their only released works The Veil and Paranoia\, remarking on how the former offered a “queasy romance” (lyrically) and also “largely lives on vocals and bass alone”.Paranoia he said has sharp delivery an impressive sour charm. \n\n\n\nGreystonesisters.bandcamp.comTickets: £14.00 (+ Booking fee) \n\n\n\nEvent Details \n\n\n\n\nDoors: 8.00pm\n\n\n\nPerformance: 8.30pm\n\n\n\nLocation: The Samuel Worth Chapel\, Sheffield\, S11 8NT\n\n\n\nAccessibility: The Samuel Worth Chapel is fully accessible.\n\n\n\nFacilities: The Samuel Worth Chapel has a fully licensed bar selling local beers\, wine and spirits.\n\n\n\nTickets: All tickets are sold online via Ticketsource. SUMMARY:Brides of The Black Room + Promenade Cinema
DESCRIPTION:The Brides of the Black Room \n\n\n\nA secret society\, existing as nothing more than a whisper through history\, The Brides of the Black room began it´s unmasking in late 2020. \n\n\n\nOnce hunted as witches\, and now reclaiming the title as their birthright\, the coven seeks to bring balance to the shadows they’ve had to call their home. Serving the omnipotent entity they know as \n\n\n\n“Mother”\, the Brides took up arms against any that would see them brought back down into obscurity. \n\n\n\nIn season 1/album 1 “Blood and Fire” (2022)\, the Brides was fronted by a trinity of unexpected spearhead siblings with ancient rites and ever shifting technology as their weapons. \n\n\n\nIn season two Alazam wakes up after the blast of whatever was going on to find herself in a somewhat Nangijala state. And so the struggle continues. Who´s in command? Over what? What is the struggle? \n\n\n\nWho is the enemy? \n\n\n\nSeason 2/Album 2 called “Commander” (2025) presented the cult taking new steps further into the story revealing the characters behind the curtains that were there since the beginning of the story; Coyote\, Lynx & Ghostheart. \n\n\n\nThe Brides of the Black Room is now heading on their first tour after only exclusive concerts in their home city of Stockholm. \n\n\n\nPromenade Cinema \n\n\n\nPromenade Cinema create cinematic synthpop with dark allure and melodic intensity. Lush synths and compelling vocals build songs that stay with you long after they end. Their music draws you into a world of shadow and splendour\, where emotion and atmosphere take centre stage. \n\n\n\nFollowing the popularity of their recent singles Play With Fate and Under Review – new album AFTERLIFE cements Promenade Cinema’s reputation as one of the UK’s most distinctive electronic duos. The physical album & digital download is available via Bandcamp: https://promenadecinema.bandca… \n\n\n\nOn stage\, Promenade Cinema have built a reputation for immersive performances across Europe\, appearing at festivals including Infest (UK)\, ElectriXmas (Sweden)\, Resistanz (UK)\, Fame Festival (Poland)\, and NCN Festival (Germany). \n\n\n\nRefined\, evocative\, and unforgettable.

SUMMARY:Covenant Legacy UK Tour + TBC
DESCRIPTION:COVENANT 1986-2026We live in confusing times\, in the dusk of mankind. We want to tell stories and sing about how that makes us feel. In a world that has stopped making sense\, we need to learn how to see in the dark. Covenant is a triumphant embrace of the strength and resilience of the soul. It’s the dystopian\, unforgiving song of our dreams born in the shadow of the cold war. Our music is a monument of our failures and as beautiful as a collapsed star. \n\n\n\n26t of April 1986\, on the very eve of the Chernobyl disaster\, Covenant was founded after having their senses blinded by Front 242 in Malmö at the legendary venue Stadt Hamburg. \n\n\n\nThe aggressive beats and uncompromising attitude mixed with the pop flavour of their new song Don’t Crash made a deep impression and only 5 months later Clas\, Eskil and Joakim had their first show\, with own songs\, and the band have since performed in 42 countries over 6 continents and released over 120 songs. In 2026 the band would like to invite you and together reflect on the times and celebrate 40 years of “pop with an edge”! In a string of extended concerts\, spanning two and a half hours\, the band will perform songs from every album with setlists voted by the fans and you. We are honoured and grateful for every moment we shared\, thank you for the music. \n\n\n\nFounding members Joakim Montelius and Eskil Simonsson are currently working on a new album. Like a probing Nautilus\, changing with change\, moving within motion and steering straight through black waters\, we will never rest\, we will never abandon. \n\n\n\nWelcome to the void. \n\n\n\nDiscography1994 – Dreams of a Cryotank1996 – Sequencer1998 – Europa2000 – United States of Mind2000 – Synergy (Live in Europe)2002 – Northern Light2006 – Skyshaper2007 – In Transit (Live Documentary)2011 – Modern Ruin2013 – Leaving Babylon2016 – The Blinding Dark2019 – Fieldworks: Exkursion \n\n\n\nThe band is currently working on their 10th studio album.
