DESCRIPTION:Born of the voices of past lives and baptized in the dust bowl dirt\, the Gothic Americana music of the Heathen Apostles (Mather Louth [Radio Noir]\, Chopper Franklin [The Cramps\, Nick Curran & the Lowlifes]\, Thomas Lorioux [Kings of Nuthin’] and Luis Mascaro) harkens back to a bygone chapter of American history. Using contrasting influences such as Bauhaus\, Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds and The Pogues along with Howlin’ Wolf\, Loretta Lynn (the band covers her classic Fist City) and Bessie Smith\, the Heathen Apostles have created a style of music that at once conjures both angels and demons\, and will enlighten a darkened soul. \n\n\n\nGothic Americana is a genre that is fast taking hold around the world\, in that it combines the sub-genres of gothic country & bluegrass\, dark blues\, murderfolk and depression-era jazz. It’s the dystopian\, unforgiving song of our dreams born in the shadow of the cold war. Our music is a monument of our failures and as beautiful as a collapsed star. \n\n\n\n26t of April 1986\, on the very eve of the Chernobyl disaster\, Covenant was founded after having their senses blinded by Front 242 in Malmö at the legendary venue Stadt Hamburg. \n\n\n\nThe aggressive beats and uncompromising attitude mixed with the pop flavour of their new song Don’t Crash made a deep impression and only 5 months later Clas\, Eskil and Joakim had their first show\, with own songs\, and the band have since performed in 42 countries over 6 continents and released over 120 songs. In 2026 the band would like to invite you and together reflect on the times and celebrate 40 years of “pop with an edge”! In a string of extended concerts\, spanning two and a half hours\, the band will perform songs from every album with setlists voted by the fans and you. In a world that has stopped making sense\, we need to learn how to see in the dark. Covenant is a triumphant embrace of the strength and resilience of the soul. It’s the dystopian\, unforgiving song of our dreams born in the shadow of the cold war. Our music is a monument of our failures and as beautiful as a collapsed star. \n\n\n\n26t of April 1986\, on the very eve of the Chernobyl disaster\, Covenant was founded after having their senses blinded by Front 242 in Malmö at the legendary venue Stadt Hamburg. \n\n\n\nThe aggressive beats and uncompromising attitude mixed with the pop flavour of their new song Don’t Crash made a deep impression and only 5 months later Clas\, Eskil and Joakim had their first show\, with own songs\, and the band have since performed in 42 countries over 6 continents and released over 120 songs. In 2026 the band would like to invite you and together reflect on the times and celebrate 40 years of “pop with an edge”! In a string of extended concerts\, spanning two and a half hours\, the band will perform songs from every album with setlists voted by the fans and you. Hailing from the unlikely locale of Edmonton Alberta\, the project originally emerged from mastermind Scott Fox’s desire to explore both the heavy electronics he cut his teeth spinning in local industrial club nights\, and his love of percussion from around the world. \n\n\n\n———- \n\n\n\nStatiqbloom –  Beat:Cancer Debut\n\n\n\nStatiqbloom has been creating a fusion of rhythm and noise with haunting dynamics since 2014 combining elements of techno with the experimentation of industrial music. \n\n\n\nCurrently based in Berlin\, he uses a combination of hardware and software to create noisy modular engineered techno.
