DESCRIPTION:We are delighted to announce that Goth City Festival will return for a one-off event this October to celebrate it’s tenth anniversary! \n\n\n\nIn 2016\, the first Goth City Festival took place in various underground venues across Leeds\, with the aim of highlighting the unique gothic legacy of the city and the wealth of talent in the UK scene\, both new and old – as well as helping UK goth get over it’s post-AltFest depression. \n\n\n\nOver the next 8 years it would feature performances by some of the key acts in UK goth\, including Skeletal Family\, 1919\, Salvation\, Rose Of Avalanche\, Inkubus Sukkubus\, Manuskript\, Auger\, Rosie Garland\, Pretentious Moi?\, Rome Burns\, and Children On Stun. By the time it ended at Leeds Warehouse in July 2023\, it had raised £20\,000 for local refugee charity PAFRAS. \n\n\n\nTo celebrate it’s tenth anniversary\, a special one-off edition of Goth City Festival will take place in October. \n\n\n\nThe event kicks off on Monday 12th October at our old stomping ground Wharf Chambers\, with headliners Hurtsfall\, special guests The Golden Age Of Nothing\, and openers Shallow Halo! \n\n\n\nDoors: 7.30pm-11pmDate: Monday 12th OctoberVenue: Wharf Chambers\, Wharf Street\, LeedsTickets: £15+fees (Friday)\, £20+fees (Saturday)\, £30+fees (weekend) advance\, full festival ticket £55+fees

DESCRIPTION:Sheffield General Cemetery is delighted to welcome back In The Black Midwinter \n\n\n\nNight Shift has been putting on events connected with the Goth scene since 2016 all over the country and even a few in the US though predominantly in Yorkshire area. In 2019 the first In the Black Midwinter event was begun in sheffield and has been running every year since apart from when it wasn’t possible due to covid. This 6th occasion we decided to take it to a new level of gothness by hosting it in a cemetery.Yet again celebrates over 3 days some of the most interesting and unusual talent in and connected to Goth. Expect all manner of things from Ukulele through\, synth-pop\, acoustic folk rock\, blues\, traditional goth and everything in between. We always aim to find the most exciting\, unique and spectacular performers around. Last year we even had two from the US.It’s a boundary pushing event where you never know what to expect. Full festival tickets limited to 50 and cost £50 each.
