Valisia Odell is a defining figure in Greece’s dark electro/minimal wave scene. Aristomenis Theodoropoulos is a visual artist and musician.

DVPLVX

DVPLVX (pronounced duplux) is the project of Canadian artist Tristan Finck, based in Antwerp, Belgium. DVPLVX creates danceable yet ominous synthpop — driven by hardhitting drum machines, energetic sequences, and detached vocals.

Merging glossy late-80s sounds with a touch of surrealism, the sound is both futuristic and familiar — echoes of Darkwave, Minimal Synth, Hi-NRG, and EBM, but uncomfortably beyond the borders of any genre. Anachronistic in the best way possible.
