Exile

Exile is a DJ night in Edinburgh, based firmly in old-school goth and post-punk music, playing plenty of classics but also forgotten gems and a good sprinkling of newer music.

Our venue is The Cellar Bar beneath The Argyle in Marchmont, a lovely self-contained space with its own bar and toilets, comfy seating and space to dance. The night runs from 7:30pm until midnight, with the music ending at 11:45pm, giving time for drinking up, saying goodbyes etc. after the final track ends.

We don’t have a very restrictive dress code, we simply ask that our attendees dress darkly. if in doubt, something like black jeans and black t-shirt will be absolutely fine!

How often: Every few months
