Hopefully this will help you find when your favourite goth band is playing next, or when your favourite goth club is next happening, providing someone has submitted it of course!

The Velvet Sheep presents – Hurtsfall + Feather Trade + Debdepan + Beck Stacey

The Angel Microbrewery 7 Stoney Street, Nottingham

An evening of dark delights, brought to you by The Velvet Sheep!

Four unique acts linked by a dalliance with the melancholy - be this the dark, folk tales of BECK STACEY, the haunting, adventurous post-pop of DEBDEPAN , the anger, frustration and resignation at a commodified, intolerant society expertly encapsulated by the passionate ire and fire of FEATHER TRADE, or the drama and poetic beauty of HURTSFALL - it's going to be a wonderfully exhausting showcase of some of the finest acts out there right now.

B-MOVIE BIOGRAPHY

BACK TO THE FUTURE
Pioneers of 80’s electronic music, B-Movie, released their first new material in 30 years during 2013 via the German imprint No Emb Blanc. The band’s classic influences — Dr Feelgood, The Stranglers, Ian Dury — meshed with the sounds of artists like Neil Young, Brian Eno and The Waterboys, and, in the end, Hotel Lux found themselves “doing the whole ‘haha, that’s what the fourth album will sound like’ thing” on their first, […]

After departing from Skeletal Family in 1985, she co-founded Ghost Dance with Gary Marx (formerly of The Sisters of Mercy). Ghost Dance released several indie chart hit singles through Karbon Records, which were later compiled on the 'Gathering Dust' album. In 1989 they signed to Chrysalis Records and released the 'Stop The World' album and two more singles, with 'Down To The Wire' peaking at no.66 in the UK singles chart.
