Elegia + Parade Ground

The White Hotel, Salford Dickinson Street,, Salford

Elegia's moving feast for EBM and darkwave fiends host Parade Ground, legendary pioneers of '80s Belgian cold wave, whose anthem 'Gold Rush' has been played at every Elegia thus far. During the mid-late '80s Parade Ground issued a classic run of LPs + EPs produced by Front 242, effectively making them Patrick Codenys and co.'s more pop-wise, dadaist sibling unit. More recently Dark Entries' reissues and comps have reaffirmed Parade Ground's pioneering status for EBM veterans and wavey youngbloods snagged on their sharp rhythms and ohrwurm hooks.
