CARPE NOCTUM is the biggest and longest-running regular goth club in the north of England. It celebrated its 25th anniversary last year, and was recently an inaugural inductee of the Leeds Goth Hall of Fame. The InSect + Social Youth Cult + Blinded By Passion

London’s The InSect release their first full-length album, “As It Ever Was,” in March 2026. Playing new tracks plus material from their two previous EPs, The InSect deliver theatricality, passion and otherworldly sounds in a compelling live performance that is not soon forgotten. Support from Newcastle’s Social Youth Cult, a young band rapidly rising in the post-punk scene in the North. They recently released their first album, “The Lighthouse,” drawing favourable comparisons with Bauhaus and Sex Gang Children. Plus London’s Blinded By Passion, a rising band blending darkwave, synthpop and postpunk sounds into a rich tapestry of haunting melancholy.
