We are delighted to announce that Goth City Festival will return for a one-off event this October to celebrate it’s tenth anniversary! In 2016, the first Goth City Festival took place in various underground venues across Leeds, with the aim of highlighting the unique gothic legacy of the city and the wealth of talent in the UK scene, both new and old – as well as helping UK goth get over it’s post-AltFest depression. Over the next 8 years it would feature performances by some of the key acts in UK goth, including Skeletal Family, 1919, Salvation, Rose Of Avalanche,
Sheffield General Cemetery is delighted to welcome back In The Black Midwinter Night Shift has been putting on events connected with the Goth scene since 2016 all over the country and even a few in the US though predominantly in Yorkshire area. In 2019 the first In the Black Midwinter event was begun in sheffield and has been running every year since apart from when it wasn’t possible due to covid.
