MECHANICAL CABARET:

Post-Industrial Synth-Punk from Roi Robertson, together with Stephen J. Bellamy and Tobie Chandler for live shows: Mechanical Cabaret combine edgy, often downright filthy synthesizer experiments with sampled found-sound, off-kilter melodies and a spiky electronic energy, with Roi’s deadpan baritone and sardonic lyrics, delivered with a healthy dose of typically British dark humour.

They’ve been provoking audiences for 25 years, where Roi really comes into his own as a dynamic, energetic front-man, playing many headline shows and club gigs over the years, and supported the likes of such musical luminaries as Fad Gadget, Nitzer Ebb, Suicide, DAF, Front 242, The Damned, Karl Bartos of Kraftwerk, Sigue Sigue Sputnik, Frontline Assembly, Sheep On Drugs, and many more!

THE MEME PUNKS:

Based in London, The Memepunks have been delighting audiences with their unique style of mashups and unconventional covers since 2011. No song is sacred and no genre is safe from their madcap musical experiments. From kazoo and accordion solos to TV theme tunes, The Memepunks will stop at nothing to surprise and amuse.

They’ve supported acts including Professor Elemental, Aurelio Voltaire, Rasputina, Abney Park and Manuskript, and performed at the WGW 80s Night, Club Antichrist and EMF Festival. Now with 50% more guitar, The Memepunks are looking forward to unleashing new material in advance of their appearance at Infest Festival.
