King Confuza’s Cryptid Queers #4 – A Thot In The Dark

Goths, thots, queers, and weirdos of the North rejoice! We are back and bringing you unadulterated queer goth stompy joy in the form of our next party!

Sheffield’s best, weirdest, (and only) drag monster cabaret King Confuza’s Cryptid Queers returns to Bal Fashions on March 25th bringing you some of the most exciting drag monsters and alternative performers the UK has to offer with DJ’s playing a heady mix of classic and contemporary cyber goth floor fillers til 3am.
What’s changed since the last event? To keep things fresh we will be adding in contemporary industrial, EBM, cyber, and techno alongside classic floor filler from ‘back int day’. This time around the downstairs bar will be playing classic goth, new wave, 80s alternative, and post-punk for you to enjoy while you chill and catch up with friends.

This is a queer event but it’s open to anyone outside of the LQBTQIA+ community if you feel like it’s going to be your kind of vibe. All are welcome to come and party as long as you’re respectful of people being their authentic queer selves in a gender neutral venue!

Dress Code
No actual dress code is enforced – be fierce, be comfy, be yourselves! However you’re encouraged to wear goth, cyber, rave, kawaii, fetish, latex, leather/pleather, lace etc. No one will be refused entry on the basis of how they are dressed but in order to keep it a safe space the doorman may check any ‘plain clothes’ patrons have a ticket before allowing them into the venue.

Advanced tickets only, we do not offer tickets on the door. Tickets on sale til 1 hour before the event finishes for anyone needing last minute entry.

If ticket sales go well I will release a limited number of unwaged/low waged discounted tickets to make this event more accessible.

We also offer a ‘plus tips’ ticket, this extra amount goes directly to our guest performers and DJ’s on top of their fee to help increase their earnings for the night as this is a small indie run event.

Apologies but Bal Fashions is not a wheelchair accessible venue. There is a disabled toilet at ground level in the bar. The main room is only accessible via stairs. I am working on plans for an accessible event in future.

All sales are final. Tickets are non-refundable, however they are transferrable but we ask patrons to be aware of potential ticket resale scams. Please send me an email to [email protected] if someone is offering to resell you a ticket and you have any doubts as to its authenticity.
