The March Violets are a rejuvenated 1980s British gothic rock band from Leeds, featuring original members Tom Ashton and Rosie Garland, with bassist Mat Thorpe. Following a 2023 reunion and signing with Metropolis Records, they released the 2024 album Crocodile Promises, toured the USA, and played major UK festivals like Rebellion and Bearded Theory.
The Deadinburgh Festival is a 2 day goth festival, taking place at La Belle Angele in Edinburgh's historic Old Town.
Featuring 14 of some of the best goth bands around, the festival is heading into it's second year and into a new bigger home!

Ghost Dance was originally formed in 1985 by Anne Marie Hurst (formerly of Skeletal Family) and Gary Marx (from The Sisters of Mercy). The band quickly built a strong following, spending several weeks high in the indie charts with a string of singles and an album on the Karbon label. During this time, they toured extensively with acts such as The Cult, The Mission, All About Eve, The Wonder Stuff, and Killing Joke, and appeared at the Reading Rock Festival in 1988.
