London-based Black Doldrums revisit the Northern Quarter after a stormer of a show for Deco Records last year.  Originally a duo founded by Sophie Landers (drums) and Kevin Gibbard (guitar/vocals) they are now a fully fleshed out a trio with Matt Holt joining last year on bass, 

Black Doldrums deal in a dark, shoegazing psych that melds gothic post-punk with a leather-clad rock’n’roll spirit.

This show is expected to sell-out, so don't miss your chance to catch them in this relatively small venue.

Bad Vibrations is delighted to welcome Black Doldrums to The Lexington on 14th April 2023.

Kevin Gibbard and Sophie Landers produce a dark psych, contemporary form of gothic post-punk under the name Black Doldrums.

Their songs contain hook and lead tribal drums and euphoric guitar textures that frame lyrics about purpose and introspection.
