Dancing and Laughing was a club night in Manchester, specialising in post-punk, synthpop, dark indie and minimal wave music, running during the years 2012 and 2013.
During the Covid pandemic in 2020, Dancing and Laughing reappeared as an online version, and in May 2022 this was then resurrected in a small north London venue. This night has since then been a regular fixture every four months, with the EBM special Work! (To Live) in the alternating two months.

Dancing and Laughing founder, Nathan Nothing, likes to have birthday parties. Last year's was an approximation of a Dancing and Laughing night (north London's recent incarnation of Manchester's old post-punk and synth night), but it was in south London, in the Distortion brewery. Now that Nathan has defected to north London, it's time to do something for his new locality.
