Welcome to The Goth Calendar, an attempt to help people find which Goth gigs and club nights are happening in our busy busy times.

Hopefully this will help you find when your favourite goth band is playing next, or when your favourite goth club is next happening, providing someone has submitted it of course!

The Birthday Massacre + Vanilla Sugar + Witch Of The Vale

Newhampton Arts Centre, Wolverhampton Newhampton Arts Centre, Dunkley St, Wolverhampton, United Kingdom

The night is short. It weighs heavy, but the light always awaits us,” begins the darkly poetic tagline
from vocalist Chibi about ‘Diamonds’, the eighth album by The Birthday Massacre. In these current
troubling times that have forced the Canadian post-punk goth act to postpone a North American
tour that had been due to commence on its release date, we can only look forward to brighter days
ahead.

The tour will be the first opportunity for UK based fans to see new bassist Brett Carruthers perform
with the group. Carruthers is also the frontman of fellow Toronto-based act A Primitive Evolution,
who released an excellent album of industrial tinged rock entitled ‘Becoming’ on Metropolis Records
in 2018 and will remain […]

We’re happy to announce that our 16th studio album ‘Unbroken’ will be released on 26th January 2024, accompanied by a first tour of Europe (including the UK).

We started writing the album in 2021 against a backdrop of everything that is happening in a fast-changing world and in our own lives, but of course the process was interrupted by the much delayed 40th Anniversary tour and the whole Sinfonia project. We decided early on that our number one choice to mix the album would be the legendary Tchad Blake who accepted, […]
