The March Violets + TBC

Play Loud, Play Purple “The slinky, savage yet warmly delicate March Violets, whose thirst for mystery, magic and brutal darkness has set them apart.” –Winston Smith, Sounds – June 18th 1983  “Fantastic, post-punk shrapnel guitar from founder member Tom Ashton… the strikingly, scary, esoteric beauty of Rosie Garland… The songs clatter and grind around the drum machine and their powerful fug fills the room.” – John Robb, Louder Than War Once Upon A Leeds, 1981. The March Violets strum their first riff and scrawl their first set list. Their impressive post-punk legacy stretches from 1980s BBC John Peel sessions, indie […]

Vision Video + Stiiill

Vision Video is a post-punk goth rock band from Athens, Georgia that injects modern malaise into classic sounds of the late 70’s and 80’s. The band pays homage to classics like the Chameleons and The Cure, while also bringing a refreshing modern element to the genre. Thematically their music explores the effects of trauma on the human psyche and finding stability and agency in an insane world. Having served in Afghanistan with the army and as a firefighter in the civilian world, lead singer and guitarist Dusty Gannon is no stranger to the darker proclivities of humanity and death itself.
