IAmImperfect

IAMIMPERFECT are based on the Northern England City of Sheffield and are Paul Jackson (Vocals, Synths and Programming) and Kelly Dorset (Guitars).

Aiming to do things differently after the ending of the Paul Venkman project, Paul threw it all away and began on a series of new tracks aiming for something less guitar based and more synth based.  Things took a bit of a side step in 2022 when he asked Kelly, guitarist from The Way Of All Flesh to try contributing some guitar lines to the new tracks and suddenly there was a project ready to go.

Mid 2023 saw them getting into practice rooms to pull a live presence together and quickly lead to them opening the Saturday Night at The Ravenspurgh Online Goth Festival, then opening for Byronic Sex & Exile in Leeds on his Stage Fright Tour. Finally for 2023, an artist cancellation allowed the to open the Black Midwint3r festival in Sheffield, a booking which caused the day tickets to swiftly sell out.

2024 so far has seen the release of their first Single, “Static & Feeling”, alongside a single launch gig in their hometown of Sheffield which also sold out.   More releases are building for the rest of 2024.

In the Black Midwinter returns and this time, further still from being in the middle of winter and more than likely even less goth! Hurrah! It’s what the public really want we’re sure. We’ll be filling an three days (well three evenings and two afternoons really) with some of the most interesting and exciting acts around. No ancient legacy acts, just acts of the scene now! I am delighted to announce my long-awaited return to Sheffield Corporation on Saturday April 5th. It’s been 10 long years, baby and this time I’m touring to promote my new EP, ‘Speak of the Devil’. The Hell ‘n Back Club 10 year anniversary: The Glass House Museum + Deathtrippers + IAmImperfect

In June we will be celebrating our 10 year anniversary. To mark the occasion we will be holding two events over two nights. On Friday 13th June we’ll be holding our regular monthly DJ club night at our regular venue The Westover Club, and on Saturday 14th June we’ll be returning back to the place where it all began, where we held our very first event back in June 2015, Scarborough’s Dean Road Corporation Club, for what will be our first Live Music Event in over three years.
