redeye – Deadtime Disco

Luton’s premier goth / industrial night from the mid nineties is back with a new daytime discotheque for all the dark deviants and cyber freaks. Now there is a whisper in the shadows, a stirring in the crypts, a breath felt on the back of your neck in an empty room. Something is definitely happening. RedEye returns with a daytime discotheque for all the dark deviants and cyber kids to dust of the cobwebs and dance through the afternoon down in the Hat Factory crypt. Away from the daylight. Old and new DJs will be playing a mix of goth, […]

Gothbox: Inertia + The Spiritual Bat + Into The Dark

We’ve prepared an absolute banger of a night with this one. Inertia, The Spiritual Bat, and Into the Dark offer three very different, yet exceptional takes on what constitutes gothic music. Inertia, going strong for 33 years, joins dark vocals with rhythmic synths, and at this point in their career, doesn’t really need the introduction in the first place. The Spiritual Bat is just as old as Inertia, bring a far more traditional goth vibe to the stage. They’re just as well known, having risen out of Italy, they’ve since travelled all over the western world. Finally, Into the Dark,

Gothbox: Palindrones + IAmImperfect + Lilac Underworl

Our sound system managed to scrape through our last George 2nd night with only a few scratches, but we’ve patched the holes and are working to bring back better sound to truly do justice to our bands and DJs! We’ve got some great acts for your enjoyment, from Lilac Underworld’s mystical, musical melodies followed by IAmImperfect with their simultaneously heavy and rhythmic backing, fronted by a spacey use of synths and vocals, before we bring the bands to a rush, getting lost in Palindrones titular droning audio vistas. Once we deign to grant the bands their contractually obligated break (or

Gothbox: Bein-E + Attrition + Cyph_on

We’re returning with force to the Castle, with three bands for another brilliant alternative night. The unspeakable Beinaheleidenschaftsgegenstand bring a dark, ambient introduction to our night with their surreal and artistic works. We follow that with the more upbeat gothic rhythms of Attrition, who’s melodic and percussive masterpieces paint stark pictures with dark fixtures. With the energy built up, we’ve also got our old friends at Cyph_On, who got their start performing live with us, with their hard hitting and rage fuelled blend of metal, industrial and punk, raising the fundamental problems of the world with their lyrics. Once the

Gothbox: Non-Bio + Leevil + Junkie Kut

Our first night in the second venue, the George II. We’re coming in swinging with 3 bands and 4 DJs, likely a chaotic mess of a night. We’ve got Non-Bio, Leevil and Junkie Kut starting us off from 7pm to 10pm, each with their own special brand of electro-gothic nonsense. We’ve then got our DJs, including ZackGeko and Industrial Warrior who’ll be DJing together, to bring us up to our 1am closing time. Join us in showing that smaller venues also have value and can put on spectacular shows. If we can do it, anyone can.
