Social Youth Cult are a post-punk group that love to cultivate the unusual. The budding
group are a force to be reckoned with in the gothic world, both in attitude and sound.
Having shed the skin of their early darkwave-esque efforts, SYC now command
attention via a heavy, rhythmic sound reminiscent of early Bauhaus. Refusing a firm
definition, their sound is atmospheric, yet sporadic; outward, yet introspective; gothic, yet Gang of Four. Social Youth Cult are in fine form, returning from an array of cross-
country dates that both stunned and captivated new listeners. The band’s debut album ‘The Lighthouse’ will be released on the 2nd November 2025.

Formed in Nice in 1992, Corpus Delicti quickly made their mark on gothic rock with their debut Twilight (1993), followed by two more genre-defining albums before disbanding in 1997. Their fusion of post-punk energy and dark melody earned international acclaim, a US tour, and a lasting cult following. Over two decades later, their reputation has only grown: reissues on Cleopatra Records, praise from Postpunk.com, Ascension, and Sens Critique (which lists them among the 35 must-have gothic rock bands alongside Bauhaus, The Cure, and Joy Division), and a dedicated global fanbase keeping their legacy alive. Reuniting in 2022 with drummer Laurent
