Goth at the Brewery + Dawn of Elysium + Kyle Blaqk + Novus

Whitby Brewery once again invites all Children of The Night (or mid-afternoon in this case) to the third “Goth at The Brewery” event. Admission is FREE with three bands playing for your displeasure:

DAWN OF ELYSIUM – Hailing from Bradford, West Yorkshire, this band have been homing their unique take on progressive gothic rock for the last decade. Constantly evolving, the band expanded to its current 5-piece line-up in the last couple of years and has since been going from strength to strength. With a proud DIY ethic, the band have self-recorded and released albums “Time and Tide” (2016) and “Raven” (2019) as well as a string of EPs and singles throughout the pandemic, with more exciting releases planned for 2022. Following the post-punk/goth vibes of earlier material, their current sound can best be described as traditional guitar based gothic rock with reflections of prog and 1990s West Yorkshire metal with passionate female vocals. https://www.facebook.com/DawnOfElysium

KYLE BLAQK (of AUGER) – Kyle Blaqk is the voice of AUGER – a hyper melodic, genre fluid, dark rock band, who have released 3 albums in just 3 years, which all went top 5 in the German ‘DAC’ charts, and have played 60+ shows, in 8 Countries during that time. Kyle will be performing a semi-acoustic set of Auger songs, some classic cover versions and Kyle Blaqk originals, for your delight. https://www.facebook.com/AugerOfficial

NOVUS – An industrial electro gothic band from the UK, who will be celebrating 20 years in the scene in 2022. They have shared stages with the likes of Lord Of The Lost, Combichrist, Nitzer-Ebb, Front Line Assembly, The Birthday Massacre, Cruxshadows, Covenant, Ashbury Heights, Inkubus Sukkubus and Toyah, and toured throughout Europe with shows in Portugal, the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany (Amphi Festival Koln & K17 Berlin), Switzerland, Czech Republic, Serbia, Lithuania, Latvia, Finland (Lumous Festival Tampere) & Sweden. Sarahjane Farr is the voice of NOVUS (ex-Faithful Dawn). She is joined by Peter Jones on guitar and Angie Blackstone on bass guitar.
