Goth City 6: The Vampire Strikes Back – Boom Stage: The Rose Of Avalanche + Chaos Bleak + Deathtrippers

Back from the dead! After the runaway success of our last event, Leeds’ goth festival Goth City returns renewed & refreshed for another weekends of live music, DJs, stalls, spoken word & social events throughout the city – and now in our new summer schedule!

Goth City Festival is a city-wide musical and cultural festival that celebrates the gothic and post-punk heritage of the city and of Yorkshire generally. Events include, gigs, clubs, discussions, spoken word, acoustic and social events and features more than 20 different bands and performers. In keeping with the DIY and underground spirit of the event, the festival is held at the best alternative venues across the city.

All proceeds from Goth City Promotions events during the festival are donated to PAFRAS (Positive Action For Refugees and Asylum Seekers), a local charity for destitute refugees and asylum seekers. The festival has raised over £15,000 for PAFRAS during it’s first five years.

The festival opens with the SIXTH instalment of our annual night of dark cabaret ‘A Night Of The Dark Arts’, featuring four acts of music, spoken word, comedy and much besides at the Fox & Newt. Those of you who are in town early will love this intimate show of thrills & chills!
