THE MEDEA PROJECT

Conjuring a unique dark magic, that speaks to the hearts of the lost and alone, The Medea Project bind their audience together in an unspoken pact of blood and shadows. Their live performances are events; outpourings of passion and defiance, voyages beyond the black. This is the sound of the other, the vast emptiness, the world beyond your circle of light.

CHAOS BLEAK

Chaos Bleak are a goth band from Nottingham, featuring members from Midnight Configuration, Arcane Winter, 13 Candles, Death Party UK and Every New Dead Ghost.

They’ve been describes as “a Black Sabbath for the gothic generation”.

Quite a pedigree! Formed in 2019 in a pub in Hucknall, the band immediately began to write and record, playing their first gig in Leeds as part of Goth City later that year.

To date the band have released 13 singles, the most recent, Dance with Disaster, on Gothic World Records who the band signed with in 2022. There have also been two critically acclaimed EPs, and the debut album A New Age of Darkness, was re-released in 2022 with extra tracks. Again, this was well received, earning 8/10 in Vive Le Rock this month.

Chaos Bleak describe themselves as “pre-goth”, abandoning the Sisters style so beloved by other bands and instead taking cues from Play Dead, Killing Joke, Siouxsie and The Banshees and The Doors.

Live shoes are intense, heavy and cathartic for band and audience alike.
