DEVIL & THE UNIVERSE Biography:
Two cards selected from the 78-piece tarot card-set as utilised by the most famous occultist of the 20th century Aleister Crowley, were behind the first step. ”The Devil” and “The Universe” were the cards pulled that would prophesize a name for a musical-magical-transcendental composition & transformation project: THE DEVIL & THE UNIVERSE. The three goat masked musicians set out to create an eclectic blend of styles, sounds and atmospheres. Tribal drums meet 80’s electronica, industrial beats merge with middle eastern percussions, soundtrack like atmospheres conjure up dreams of a future that never was. A dance […]

Since emerging in 2015, Sextile have been a party-provoking force on the LA underground, capable of kicking up a riot with the raw-edged squall of a synth or the sharp-elbowed jerk of a guitar. Originally formed by Brady Keehn and Melissa Scaduto after the pair relocated from New York to LA, Sextile released their debut album A Thousand Hands in 2015, with its Grand Canyon-sized echoes, haunted screams, and post-punk invocations, before pushing synths further down the front with 2017 effort Albeit Living.
Sextile’s taste for electronics matured on the throbbing EBM-meets-industrial pick-me-up of 2018’s 3 […]
New Model Army - "Unbroken" Album & Tour 2024
We’re happy to announce that our 16th studio album ‘Unbroken’ will be released on 26th January 2024, accompanied by a first tour of Europe (including the UK).
We started writing the album in 2021 against a backdrop of everything that is happening in a fast-changing world and in our own lives, but of course the process was interrupted by the much delayed 40th Anniversary tour and the whole Sinfonia project. We decided early on that our number one choice to mix the album would be the legendary Tchad Blake who accepted, […]
Headliners In Isolation will be playing their hit cover of I Believe In Father Christmas (Greg Lake), songs from their last two albums plus some brand new numbers and surprises. Discord and Rhyme bring their excellent synth pop Eighties covers to the mix (including some keytar we are promised), and Ombudsmen provide some phat beats, stupid melodies and psychedelic excursions.
Sadly Cyferdyne are retiring from from live gigs after 2024. This is their first farewell gig for you to enjoy them live for one of the very last times.
We are also really excited to welcome back Zeitgeist Zero. Industrial goth fused with powerful vocals and gritty electronics.
Carrying the torch for the next generation we welcome INTSEC. Creating aggressive wall-of-sound dance floor fillers.
Our resident DJ Zombie Chris will be playing tunes between the acts for you bounce to.
Join Chaos Bleak, Jan Doyle Band and Courtesan and celebrate an early Mithras.
Free entry (well, it is the time to give), doors at 7pm. Fancy dress if you like, but please don't.
Free entry. Worth saying again.
AUGER will play a special headline show at The Fulford Arms in York, on Saturday the 9th of December 2023.
They are delighted that they will be joined by their Big Chair label mates NOVUS & Imogen Evans Music.
Gene Loves Jezebel play their first London show for nearly two years at The Lexington, Kings Cross, on Sunday December 10 2023. Jay Aston, James Stevenson, Peter Bugg Rizzo and floating drummer Smiley will perform songs from the imminent release of their 10th studio album Love Death Sorrow as well as classics such as Desire, The Motion Of Love and Break The Chain. First formed in the early 1980s the band had considerable success on both sides of the Atlantic – here’s a great opportunity to catch them in one of their rare London appearances and also in a smaller, […]
