Papillon de Nuit + Tengu Taiko Drummers
National Early Music Centre, York St Margarets Church, Walmgate,, YorkThe debut concert by Papillon de Nuit, will take place at The National Early Music Centre, St Margaret's Church, in York on Friday the 26th June, 2026. The evening will be divided into two Acts, with an interval.
Act One - A stunning, heart-pounding performance by The Tengu Taiko Drummers.
Act Two - Papillon de Nuit unveil their debut album, playing live for the first time, with cello, piano, guitars, drums and percussion, soprano, orators and vocalist, and with a number of very special guests.

The Fulford Arms, York 121 Fulford Road, York, United KingdomBalaam And The Angel: Formed in the West Midlands in 1984 by three Scottish brothers living in Staffordshire. The band have continued to perform in their original line up of Mark, Jim and Des Morris for over four decades.
The band, known for their dark, energetic sound blending goth, glam and alternative rock influences from acts like Bauhaus, Death Cult, Killing Joke etc, gained a cult following in the 1980’s underground scene.
