Welcome to The Goth Calendar, an attempt to help people find which Goth gigs and club nights are happening in our busy busy times.

Hopefully this will help you find when your favourite goth band is playing next, or when your favourite goth club is next happening, providing someone has submitted it of course!

Is something missing? Then go submit it!

Reformation: Der Bürokrat

The Waiting Room, London Stoke Newington, London

We are delighted to announce that our July REFORMATION party will feature DER BÜROKRAT making their debut UK gig!

Der Bürokrat is the necessary collision of two pivotal trajectories within the European underground. On one side, Ben, the sonic architect behind the electro-dark cult Hammershøi; on the other, Jules, the voice and electro punk-ebm nerve of Zug.

Having closed their respective chapters on the stages of major international festivals, the two multi-instrumentalists have merged into an entity that rejects the superfluous. Their synthetic minimalism transforms Italian-French aesthetics into constant tension: a sharp dialogue between Teutonic rigor and […]

1985-1989

Ghost Dance was originally formed in 1985 by Anne Marie Hurst (formerly of Skeletal Family) and Gary Marx (from The Sisters of Mercy). During this time, they toured extensively with acts such as The Cult, The Mission, All About Eve, The Wonder Stuff, and Killing Joke, and appeared at the Reading Rock Festival in 1988.

T.O.P.P., Manchester 45-47 Thomas Street, Manchester

MUTATIONS PRESENT: EKATA + FAUX NAÏF

T.O.P.P (Renae)//SAT 18TH JULY//9PM-3AM

Mutations returns to the fantastic T.O.P.P this Summer with 2 headlining guests in toe.

We are delighted to be joined by Etaka - an engineer of sonic environments where machine language and dystopian tension collide. Her sound operates in the shadows, driven by a sci fi presence, blurring the lines between Electro, EBM, Techno and Acid. With productions on Avoidant/Science Cult, and a DJ residency at Natural Selection - she’s impressed at their infamous Fold parties with her cold, driven, high energy sets.

Alongside her […]

The Sweet Kill @ Whistlebinkies Edinburgh

LA post-punk band THE SWEET KILL, helmed by Pete Mills, stands as a gothic-rock tour-de-force, a dark presence in a world of cold wave synths and brooding guitars. Spawned to be a beacon for those lost in the shadows of life, Mills’ deep baritone voice guides us through sonic terrains stretched over wind-swept moors and crumbling Gothic ruins. THE SWEET KILL delves into the chambers of the soul, where despair and longing collide. His voice, like a haunting refrain, pulls at the heartstrings, evoking the desolate beauty of a long-lost romantic era echoing the laments of London After Midnight, Sisters of Mercy and […]
