Goth City 7: To Live And Die In LS will feature the usual magic brew of quality live music, DJs, spoken word, social events, stalls and good vibes at several venues throughout Leeds, all in aid of our sponsored charity PAFRAS (Positive Action For Refugees & Asylum Seekers).

Goth City 7: To Live And Die In LS will feature the usual magic brew of quality live music, DJs, spoken word, social events, stalls and good vibes at several venues throughout Leeds, all in aid of our sponsored charity PAFRAS (Positive Action For Refugees & Asylum Seekers).
Please join the Catacombs Club, a new party that celebrates the unconventional in the underground scene! Our three DJs – Kalle, Nik, and Ms Muertos – will be spinning the darkest mix of deathrock, postpunk, batcave, punk and goth all night long, with the unique characteristic of the total absence of electronic music and predominance of noisy guitars!

The unique and beautiful Niamos, built in 1901, later became the first Afro-Caribbean-led theatre in Europe and Nina Simone famously sang here in 1991 - today, the venue is a community led art-space and cultural centre. In Frenchy and the Punk’s latest release, Zen Ghost, they conjure their own genre-bending blend of gothic folk pop, post-punk and alternative cabaret. Formed in 2005, this multifaceted NY-based dynamic duo takes the listener on a veritable time machine excursion, at one moment to a retro dimly lit neon lighted dance club and then another to a soirée on the River Seine and yet another to a séance deep in the forest on a crisp Autumn night.

Once again The Clot has been asked to help celebrate a milestone birthday, this time it is the big 5 0 for the wonderful Chris. Join The Clot at HAEMORRHAGE for a night of goth, rock and metal dancefloor fillers along with a mighty portion of cheesy covers thrown into the mix.
There will be no door charge for this event but donations to S.O.P.H.I.E. would be welcomed as with all of our events
LA based The Heathen Apostles-debut UK tour-and they are coming to Reading.
If there is such a thing in the current fringe roots genre as a supergroup, it would certainly be the LA based dark roots and gothic country band Heathen Apostles, who includes ex members of Radio Noir (Mather Louth), The Cramps (Chopper Franklin), Kings of Nuthin' (Thomas Lorioux) and Christian Death (Steve Grey) in its ranks.
