Welcome to The Goth Calendar, an attempt to help people find which Goth gigs and club nights are happening in our busy busy times.
Hopefully this will help you find when your favourite goth band is playing next, or when your favourite goth club is next happening, providing someone has submitted it of course!
Is something missing? Then go submit it!
Social Youth Cult are a post-punk group that love to cultivate the unusual. The budding
group are a force to be reckoned with in the gothic world, both in attitude and sound.
Having shed the skin of their early darkwave-esque efforts, SYC now command
attention via a heavy, rhythmic sound reminiscent of early Bauhaus. Refusing a firm
definition, their sound is atmospheric, yet sporadic; outward, yet introspective; gothic, yet Gang of Four. Social Youth Cult are in fine form, returning from an array of cross-
country dates that both stunned and captivated new listeners. The band’s debut album ‘The Lighthouse’ will be released on the 2nd November 2025.
The InSect + Social Youth Cult + Blinded By Passion
The Fiddlers Elbow, London 1 Malden Road, Camden, LondonLondon's The InSect release their first full-length album, "As It Ever Was," in March 2026. Playing new tracks plus material from their two previous EPs, The InSect deliver theatricality, passion and otherworldly sounds in a compelling live performance that is not soon forgotten.
Support from Newcastle's Social Youth Cult, a young band rapidly rising in the post-punk scene in the North. They recently released their first album, "The Lighthouse," drawing favourable comparisons with Bauhaus and Sex Gang Children.
Plus London's Blinded By Passion, a rising band blending darkwave, synthpop and postpunk sounds into a rich tapestry of haunting melancholy.
